You have to say that posing with large white boards in a world that has photoshop and memes is actually pretty ballsy.

You do know that McGuinness and Adams didn't trust Corbyn enough to tell him about the talks, don't you?

They saw him as a useful idiot - and they are not the only ones.
This is perhaps my biggest problem with Corbyn - not that he is an evil anti-semite who will steal your children, or whatever the hysteria is - but that he appears to be an utterly weak leader incapable of stopping the worst excesses of his party. I'm more scared of Abbot, McDonnell and the other loons than kindly uncle grandpa.

Just to make it clear; I'm not arguing for Corbyn. I've not posted anything for Corbyn. I will not vote for Corbyn. However, you criticising Corbyn when the post was all about Johnson's ineptitude is purely deflection.

Corbyn was flummoxed by something quite simple. He hadn't got the presence of mind to cope with something that confronted him. It would have been easy enough to do. Most other politicians would have been able to do it smoothly and precisely. His problem, and it is a major one, is that left on his own he makes glaring errors. Securing the detention of a prisoner who was about to be let out by a stupid - and I know what the word means - statement. OK, so, perhaps, thinking on your feet is not important for the leader of this country. I happen to think it is an essential.

So perhaps his longer term planning is better? His garden bridge, his absence when the vote on Heathrow was due, and so many, many more. He's no good at quick or slow thinking. That's his problem. And, as he's probably going to be our next pm, our problem as well.

It doesn't take away his ineptitude by saying someone else is worse than he is when there are a number of tory mps who'd do a much better job.

He must have been trained for door-stepping. It's simple enough. It is straightforward enough. We see it often, we see it almost daily at the moment, but not from him. That means that on top of his other lack of essential abilities he can't learn.

Inept is being kind to him, something he does not deserve.
Very true, Boris is inept which does not mean Corbyn is better, but surely there must be someone out there who is worthy of being PM?

Why does it have to be a someone? A bucket fill of runny ste would be better than any of the current selection.

Unfortunately, the current choice is between Labour, a hung parliament, and the Tories. It's exactly the same as a bucket full of runnny ste - you hold your nose and do what you have to do.

Yes indeed. Both are political advertisements, one is explicit about this, the other is not.

Whether you or I agree is secondary, it's informative for those considering voting Labour.
More turbocharged bullst - how very predictable.

One is describing a real event and the Tory spin-machine lies.
The other is an election ad, which you keep posting as if it's fact.

You just illustrated predictable better than me.

Happy Polling Day to you AW111.

I'd note on this febrile day of days that bucolic psithurism has to be better than shouty aneurysm...time to walk the dogs.

This thread does seem to featurea high degree of pericombobulation, leading to a great deal of contrafibularities.

Surprise Gary Neville seems to be voting Labour today. Especially after his outburst over racism on Sky the other day. Smacks of hypocrisy to me.

As a lifelong Man Utd fan, I understand his reasoning. He's a stupid bellend.

Ha!

Just goes to show his outburst about Boris was just political point scoring and nothing but soundbites. He's not really that bothered by racism at all unless it's against black footballers. Jews are fair game though eh!!

How are we going to get these wonderful trade deals when Boris has insulted all the countries and leaders we need to get them from?

Oh that's right, he has already offered them higher medicine prices and lower food standards to sweeten the deal!
