Guys; advice needed on a couple of points
1. I have purchased an Am battery conditioner but don’t know how best to connect it ,there is a power point in the boot but I can’t find a charging point , charging kit has mag attachment.
2. In looking for charger I opened the drivers side access hatch in the boot; there’s Velcro straps in there to hold something but nothing there any ideas to what’s missing?

Hi,

Yep, if you open the boot, you will see a plastic cover on the right hand side. open that cover and there's a cigarette lighter style plug in there.

As for the velcro thing you speak of, there's nothing like that in the boot of mine. I wonder whether it could have held a tyre inflation kit thingy ?

Not sure about a mag attachment, but if it doesn’t have a cigarette lighter attachment you can get them cheaply on amazon

I have a feeling that my first aid kit was held in that space by the Velcro, but it’s been a couple of years (and the first aid has long since migrated elsewhere in the car)

Mine came with a compressor which is held in place by the velcro.

I have plugged my charger into the boot and the cigarette lighter socket in the centre console. If you use the one in the boot I would definitely use the mag connection because, in my case, I have been known to drive off without disconnecting the charger in the boot. Clive of CCCharger said he had me in mind when he added it to his range getmecoat
