One of the stories being discussed by news agencies (WAPO is one that features this) is that Bloomberg has a plan to win a brokered convention. If no candidate has 50% by convention time, then it is brokered. At this time, delegates can switch teams, something they cannot do unless at a brokered convention. This is where some fear that Bloomberg’s billions come into play. Also, that the DNC will want him as a candidate because he is more likely to defeat Trump even if he earned less delegates. They may sway others to switch to Mike, thus screwing Bernie again as they did in 2016. This will ps off the left and progressives but defeating Trump might be stronger than principles here, especially for the moderates. If the convention is not a brokered one, Mike or the DNC will have a far more difficult time cutting Bernie out.
That would be dirty but politics is a dirty game.

Bloomberg campaign offices vandalized. He blames Sanders’ supporters. This has to of course wait for an official investigation, but a number of Bernie’s supporters do have a reputation for being on the violent side. Sanders in no way encourages or condones this; it really is beyond his control.

Clint Eastwood has endorsed Bloomberg for President.
Wait for inevitable ststorm from the orange dotard.
"Clint Who?"
"Never liked the washed up has been".
"Terrible actor and even worse mayor".
"He's a democrat".
etc.. etc... ad nauseum.
I really would not mind Bloomberg to be honest. I am fairly certain he would govern very similarly to Trump policy-wise. He would run left and govern more right after winning like Bill Clinton did. He would also enjoy a soft touch from the media because he would be running against Trump. Once in though, they would turn on him for not being “progressive” or left enough. Wait for inevitable ststorm from the orange dotard.

The Nevada Caucus has been called. Sanders is proclaimed the winner with 54.6% of the votes. Biden with 17.8; Warren with 9.6, and Pete with 8.5 so far. More to go.
This is with only 6% of the precincts reporting. However, based upon which precincts are reporting vs. who is left, they have gotten pretty rock solid on calling the races early. The final numbers and the official winner will be announced tomorrow. Likely Sanders will be official but with some changes numbers.

Another point about Bloomberg. He says he will spend his money for whoever gets the nomination. Many on the Dem side despise much of what Bloomberg stands for as well as his wealth. I wager, however, they will readily accept his money as the Dems are being out raised about 2 to 1. Will he stand by his pledge? Time will tell.

Bernie said that he was briefed on the Russian meddling on his behalf a month ago. Reporters asked why it just came out publicly a day before the Nevada caucus. He said the WAPO released it the day before because the Dems and their media does not want him to win. I suppose he has a reason to worry about that after what they did to him in 2016.
I understand why the Dems do not want him to. He honeymooned in Moscow, he praises a form of government that is currently destroying Venezuela. He defended Castro, etc. These are easily beatable stances in a general election; therefore, it is obvious the Dems might want him to lose the nomination. This will be interesting.

Kleptocratic nepotism with rampant corruption is more Trump's bag. Nice try though JB.

While many countries including Colombia and Brazil - and other leading Democrat candidates - no longer recognise Maduro as Venezuela’s 'Socialists United' president, Sanders does, while also opposing economic sanctions. He's called Maduro a name or two but stops there. When it's said that middle class Venezuelans live off the dollar while the poor live off Maduro's left-wing slogans and declining handouts, with more than a million escaping (1 million+ in Colombia alone) what can Sanders possibly see as the gain from his isolated position?I understand why the Dems do not want him to. We don’t truly know how the Dem.
Senators will react, it could be a repeat of the Rep. attitude towards Trump - Denial then acceptance.
Looks like Bern is going to win fair and square and that’s the important thing, that the young people voting for Sanders have a dog in the fight. Democracy in action.

The Russians also meddled in favour of Trump in 2016.
There have been numerous stories about Trump using dirty Russian money to support his businesses
I’ve lost count of the number of times Trump has used the Courts to try and hide the financial links.
Your POTUS is in Putin’s hip pocket. It became transparently clear when he criticised the US security agencies and accepted Putin’s explanation at a press conference. Does this not embarrass you even one little bit?

Bernie has clear foreign policy and defence positions that will find favour with Russia and China as well as with their client states. Russia is likely just as happy with a Bernie win, if not more so, than a Trump one. All this Russia stuff is hilarious.
The organisations most clearly interfering in the US elections are:
a) the "intelligence services" speaking anonymously against the candidate(s) they don't like, and
b) Israel
The Russians spent less money on the US elections in 2016 than Mike Bloomberg did this morning. lol.
