Radio Scotland, a teacher saying distancing completely broken down among the kids at her secondary school.
Broken down? It never existed.

In case anyone has forgotten, it was Nicola who said way back in June that blended learning wasn't necessary because transmission and infection risk for school-age children was negligible.

The timing of the hospitality shutdown (half-term) was no coincidence......

hat situation? Where a small percentage of bedwetters are running scared of a bit of flu? That only kills pensioners or people already ill? Encouraged by an absolute shambles of an establishment hell bent on ever increasing control now that they've opened a can of worms they have no chance of closing? A can that's going to cost your children a fortune?

Maybe if people could employ a modicum of critical thought... but too many just want to be told what to do and absolve responsibility to someone else.

As an aside I wonder if when AstraZeneca or Glaxo or whoever comes up with the vaccine there will be a 'clap for the capitalists'... but I think I already know the answer to that one. It's all about Nicola and her tartan tiers, wasted millions on Nightingales and chances to get it up Boris. I'm from the government and I'm here to help...
Does this windbag just repeat the same old flaccid cliché-ridden rants every day ?

You need to take a rest son, have a lie down, that's it, yeah I know, you're the only sane one here , you're 76 ? that's nice dear

Just seen the “details” of the utter shyte. How the fk can a Level 0 still have any restrictions you shower of clowns?

What is the old “normal”? Level-1, -2.........

Is there a secret contest between Scotland and Wales as to who can come out with the biggest shower of shyte?

I think Wales are winning the race - but it will get closer when face determines everyone is in Tier 2 next week (except Shetland who will be in Tier 1).

So far I've only seen one person in support of the latest garbage, so I'm far from the only sane one. I'll put you next to Edinburgher though, you make a lovely couple.

Not a nice 'flu' to have, its effects can be long lasting. I hope you, or anyone close to you, dont have to find out.

It seems John Lydon is no fan of Bobble Heid either.

But that doesn’t mean you separate from the rest of the world.”
That'll be the Sex Pistols on the boycott list.

My, hasn't he mellowed. They wanted Anarchy in the UK in '77, not harmony. Ever get the feeling you've been swindled? smile

Thats exactly it; there is no open mindedness with the SNP cult...your with them or your the enemy; there is no middle ground.

Ask any of them for the top 3 reasons for wanting independence, and if they could actually be truthful, it would be to 'to tell the English to fk off in places 1, 2 and 3.

Even if I was in tier 1 I still cannot go back to club basketball. So I get to stay getting fatter and more unhealthy yay. To play outdoors, we have to fill in covid forums, and sanitise all basketballs etc. That's great but it's dark about 5 from monday.. just ranting but I dont see why my team of 10-14 guys cannot get a hall and play. Ok continue to fill in a forum so if anyone gets it we all "isolate" but to blankly refuse really mentally drains me. Iv played 3-4 times a week since I was 12. 20 years later it's really mentally challenging to be told by some cow no. Think I'd rather have been out with an injury than this, stleast you have a recovery date to work towards.

Nicola basically stated it wont ever be normal until a rushed 3 eye making vaccine is out.

I'm sure it is, but the fact remains most people who get it recover just fine. There are lots of long lasting diseases out there (the one I have I won't recover from ever and will likely take 15 yrs off my life), which aren't getting the normal NHS service because everyone's running scared of a virus which only kills people already fairly close to death.

Priorities are so fked now I don't know how or when we ever recover from this. I suspect it will take a change in leadership to point us in a new direction. One which isn't tainted by Covid and all the disastrous decisions associated with it. Bye bye Nicola (and Boris probably).

Not defending Sturgeon, nor am I diminutizing other medical conditions, just stating that even a mild dose of this is not very nice. I'm sure almost a quarter of a million Americans never woke up from it and I can't be bothered to check the worldwide figure, but I'm sure it is rather shocking. Sorry if I appeared a bit grumpy, I just can't see why people call it a bit of flu as if that makes it sound safe. Flu is a bloody killer too, or can be. The damage this virus will do to our economies as more people contract it and can't get back to work for weeks or months is something nobody seems to talk about, concentrating instead on its relatively small mortality rate. But, what are the options? Governments are damned of they do, damned if they don't, but I lost any sympathy for Sturgeon and Co when they took the decision to gut the hospitality industry and put Lord knows how many on benefits.

We need to get back to a managed normal not hide away in our houses forever, on that you and I agree.

Actually laugh at these polls. Yes scotland has a we army of SNP diehard bigots. Go on facebook, a poll goes up on Youguv etc and its flooded on the supporters pages to vote for it. The rest of us, the majority have no clue the polls even there. Look at twitter now. 6 months ago if you said "nicola is bad" you would be bombarded with threats of violence. Now every second comment is hating. Make no mistake with these polls, she is losing support.

I still think she has done a better job than Boris and co in her personal appearances and overall handling, I just don't agree with the decisions she has made, if that makes sense? Would not surprise me if her popularity grows. I'm interested in this new independence party, watching with interest how that plays out.

Shes done a better job in respect to pulling the wool over your eyes. Shes on tv saying soundbites and answering pre scripted questions to sound like shes in control. Done better than boris? Well let's see..

Highest death rate per capita in the UK (worse than boris)

Highest death rate per capita in care homes in europe! (Again worse than boris)

2nd highest death rates per capita in Europe (england is 5th, boris is better..ouch)

Kept nike outbreak secret

Refused PPE delivery from army, then killing care home staff and nurses from PPE hub failure (again brushed under carpet and blamed on england soundbites)

Lowest testing rates in europe! (Boris is better again ooooft)

Moved 1500 elderly to care homes with zero testing planting infections into care homes nation wide (hence high death rate again boris done better)

The elderly who got moved was not told until arrival at the care home... wtf

The elderly moved, next of kin not informed. Hence the brushed under carpet court case currently wink

She then blame carehome staff procedures for introducing the virus to homes... eh?

So in essence what has she done that's better? A better image on her daily political broadcast yes. What she has really done is steal borris' exam paper, put her name on it in neat writing and claim she done better.

Did you read my post? It was perhaps badly worded, on that I apologise. I did not mean her overall handling of the pandemic, I have been a vociferous critic of that, I meant how she has handled herself and the public overall, sorry for any confusion, mea culpa. You are aware I am a constant critic of her actions and have cited the very things you have mentioned many times? There is no wool over my eyes man, I think my posting history shows that. Have a great weekend!
