Sorry for the link to The Sun, but it seems the Sturgeon rumours have been getting more attention and she's now denying "gossip", despite an apparent injunction preventing anyone saying what that gossip is...

One thing that cannot be denied whatsoever.... The face fits.https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5290002/nico...
Form an orderly queue guys.
I suppose it could be true, there are some who go by the old saying... You dont look at the mantlepiece when pokering the fire.
Nope, not even with yours.

like the way she's claiming she was hit on by men in her 20s. Does she think we don't remember what she looked like in her 20s?
Form an orderly queue guys.

she has a point, once again the prime minister denegrates and insults ALL scots and scotland by making fun of
our leader, im anything but a separatist but the leader of the UK's 3rd biggest party should expect, and get
respect from the PM by right.
At the same time, she doesnt exactly show him respect. 2 way street our leader, im anything but a separatist but the leader of the UK's 3rd biggest party should expect, and get
respect from the PM by right.

Why? When the rethoric coming out of her mouth becomes polite and respectful then I would agree, until then, no.our leader, im anything but a separatist but the leader of the UK's 3rd biggest party should expect, and get

I guess in the same way, you are fine with your leader denigrating and insulting ALL English and England whenever she speaks. Surely the leader of the UKs largest party and Prime Minister should expect and get respect from the first minister of Scotland by right?

Respect is earned, not given.
When she publicly supports a march that has “Tory scum out” as one of its banners, why should she get respect?
Given the Tory party is the opposition in Holyrood and the second largest party for votes in Scotland, that does suggest a lack of respect for her opponents.

So Sturgeon is now saying that Boris' plans for unskilled migration will be devastating for Scotland.
Really?, If low skilled workers are what is holding up the Scottish economy then I am sorry we are in serious trouble.
Perhaps, were she competent, she could do something to get her countrymen to work rather than accept state handouts,
combine them with the thousands of migrants that are already here and living on benefits, then there you have a ready
made unskilled workforce (that generally shouldn't need re-housed), now wouldn't that make a huge dollop of sense.
We have a housing shortage, public services are at breaking point, infrastructure is under massive strain, but their plan
is to bring in thousands more people, where are they going to live for a start?.
The only thing thats devastating for Scotland is her and the SNP .

please furnish the debate with a few examples of Nicola publicly insulting the English?
Scottish Nationalism and the SNP were borne of hatred of the English. They can obfuscate their intentions using as many euphemisms as they want but the party is what it is and always has been. If they do not want the association then close it down and rebrand as something else.Plus there are countless examples of openly anti-English statements made by SNP representatives of all ranks that have gone unsanctioned by the party and its leadership. They have been cited (often) in these threads.
Furthermore, Nicola Sturgeon continues to publicly support marches where anti-English banners are always paraded and vile hate speech towards other political parties is carried on placards.

Your text in (my) bold makes me laugh, a points based immigration system is EXACTLY what was proposed in the holy white paper of lies papped out by the SNP in 2013.Really?, If low skilled workers are what is holding up the Scottish economy then I am sorry we are in serious trouble.

"This Government plans, following independence, a points based immigration system, targeted at particular Scottish needs."
But as usual, as the recent announcement has come from the Toareees then it's going to disadvantage Scotland.
If it's a low-skilled workforce Nicky is after, surely that's what she's built with the current failings in the education system?
