78 elderly patients were sent back to care homes with covid
3000 were sent back with no test at all
2000 elderly died in care homes (50% of all scottish deaths)

but there is ‘no statistical evidence’ that sending people back to care homes (either positive or untested) that has led to such high death rates.

how can there not be a direct link between the two?!?!? 50% of our deaths occurred in this situation!!!!
You do know there's no precedent for the situation we find ourselves in?
No, but even prior to this 'situation' when a mate or family member is choked full of the cold I didn't fire round to theirs for the evening. I assume that those in charge aren't the complete fk wits they have made themselves out over the last 9 months and will have realised that putting OAP's, who are weak as piss back into a care home isn't the best idea.

Half of our deaths are in care homes, yet we have some of the tightest restrictions. Utter failure from our government.

No. I knew. I was parodying you.

As I said - too stupid to figure it out.

Covered that one ad infinitum (the dodgy deleted website), but again you are too stupid to remember.

Covered that one too (SARS-Covid), but.......

Okay, I'll bite...

What gives you the right to call another poster stupid? What makes you think you're the big man on this thread? The big clever know-it-all that everyone looks up to?

Because you're not. You're just another anonymous poster. Treat people with respect. Be courteous and respectful. No one likes arrogance.

Or do we need to compare our education to see who's the cleversest?
I'm not a mod, so I don't really have the authority to tell you to stop the handbags, but I'd like to at least ask - what are either of you getting out of this?

I know looking childish and pathetic doesn't really count for much when you are just a name on a screen, but why are you bothering?

Once again though it's another SNP plan that wasn't properly evaluated, they think this bill will prevent people
from slating them and anyone that does will have the cops banging on their front door, but it works 2 ways, this
bill should, at the same time as thwarting freedom of speech for unionists, also be thwarting freedom of speech
for the SNP xenophobes who think its fair game to make offensive remarks and slander the English and the majority
of Scot's who voted No.

If those imbeciles who stood at the border with banners instructing north bound motorists
to 'fk Off' had this new law in place then, they might well be just starting their prison sentences about now.

The other day I actually said this to a SNat guy I know, his reply was ' Oh fk aye ah never thought of that'.

It isn't the deed that will bring her down, it's the cover up. Ask Nixon.

Some of the comments from SNat's in the WoS link are astonishing, many of them coming to the realisation that
their masters are actually full of deceit and corruption after all, for those not willing to look for themselves, some said...

'The FM is a liar, and she’s leading a party and a government, that are corrupt.
Who’s willing to try prove me wrong?'

'No money = no referendum.
Has this been the plan all along, the party brought into disrepute and its collapse.
Its time the other MSP/MP`s woke up and did something about Sturgeon and Murrell.'

'So now we have it in writing for all to see
The naked truth, as predicted by Stu
How salmond could squander the indy tidal wave by handing over to the murrels, defies logic
& for them to repay him in that way, suggests that there’s a lot more to this saga
Filthy game, this politics malarkey
Seems Indy is deid in my lifetime, alas'

'So that’s it – who will now trust the SNP with money for any specified use now? I can see more memberships being cancelled because of this and a st load less in donations now too…. That is the end of the SNP/Indyref2 for now I think.'

“Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated? Goodnight!”

And that is only a tiny selection, there is much worse. https://wingsoverscotland.com/youve-been-robbed/

So the FM is doing an impressive job eh, impressive that she has hornswoggled so many for so long, what is going
to be even more impressive is her downfall which is approaching rapidly.

I wonder how their manipulated, massaged, biased and totally deceitful polls will look after all this starts to become
widely known, might even see a reduction in the estimated numbers attending the March of the Hoodwinked.

Interesting times indeed.
Surprised to see Burger bumped all the posts mentioning WoS, well maybe not that surprised, it's hefty stuff.

Did you read any of the damning comments the die hard SNats are making about Sturgeon and Murrel, Burger?

I think it’s almost certain that putting positive cases into a high risk environment was not the best course of action.
Especially when questions were asked about the wording of the policy in the hours and days after it was published. Freeman and her chief of nursing were grilled on TV and radio about the obvious failings of such policy.

Freeman was adamant that care homes should follow it to the letter and said so in Holyrood.

Two weeks later the guidance disappeared and was replaced with something else.

Note for Edinburger - the link above relates to a news story that directly quotes The Scottish Government's official record of what is said in the Scottish parliament. I have linked to that story several times in this discussion and it is typical of the evidence I and others have presented in this thread regarding this and other matters you consider contentious.

That you choose to ignore and dismiss what is the government record is the reason I call you stupid, for there can be no stronger evidence than that. If you fail to realise that then you are hopelessly inept and fundamentally ill-equipped to comment on such matters, and through your ineptitude tacitly support the incompetence of people charged to serve you and the public at large yet by their failings cause loss and death.

That is not a personal slight, it is an objective observation.

So in other words, you have no evidence that party members are turning on Mrs Sturgeon. rolleyes
Members aren't leaving because they like what she's doing. Members haven't set up a group called SNP Members for Independence because they believe she wants another referendum. Members aren't backing Salmond or Cherry in their endeavours because they want more Sturgeon.

Every political leader has a shelf life. She's fast approaching her best before date.
That's all interesting, but it flies in the face of what grassroots members and party activists say?
Those are becoming fewer in number. That's why they have a quarter the money they had a year ago. That's the point. Rmainers will keep the faith, but it's the leavers who matter.

Ironic to note the SNP are bankrolled by Westminster. Not that you'll ever hear one admit it.

His own anti-white speech last month [questioning the lack of BAME people in senior institutional positions / Scot. pop. BAME ~ 96.2%ish] was pretty near the knuckle of 'hate speech', swap those colours around and things take on a different slant.

But that's the whole point with this - aside from the basic principles, [which should be evident to a child], the traps, woolliness in definitions, the irrelevance of intent or mens rea, the looming suspicion that this will grow arms and legs, the intrusion into the home environment and the fact that current legislation already exists [isn't that always the case] is just plain shoddy. My impression is that he has no idea what he is doing technically but is driven blindly and ideologically.

A child playing with a hand grenade.

Well lets hear Burger defend this one.... https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-whole-rotten-str...

'The SNP is rotten to the core', and that is coming from the SNat faithful, finally they are finding out and wakening
up to the truth about the SNP. Corrupt?, Jeez.

This has nothing to do with independence.

It is just Sturgeon and co milking the cash cow dry - before wandering off into the sunset.

She earns a salary greater than the PM of the UK.
I'm sure the pension is going to be better too.
The expenses etc etc

It is Sturgeon and those in her favour leeching off of the members and state.
