I'd give you a big thumbs-up for that if it wasn't for the fact that it would be classified as circle-jerk/echo chamber stuff.

What about the Constitution and separation of powers?
Yes, and there are systemic and legal remedies therein.

So.. you're fine with no proper functioning government, foreigners choosing your politicians, people who aren't you literally dieing for lack of care, and a crook in charge grifting money from you, but as long as you've got yours, fk 'em!
OK, got you now
No, because there is no proof that is so. You believe that and are welcome to do so. “As long as I’ve got mine”? The three things I described are for the nation as a whole, they are “ours”, not mine. If you don’t like it, vote for someone else. If you cannot vote, then what is the reason for that?

Thankfully not everyone is as self-interested as this poster. I wonder if he has children, and if so, whether he has thought about life ahead for them as they try to make their way in his 'up yours, I'm all right Jack' world.
I do and I have. Many of us who voted for Trump did so because we want a better future for them. One where we are not robbed of tech and intellectual property with no push back. One where we don’t Charge lower tariffs as others hammer us with higher, and again, no pushback. We want a leader who will worry less about how others perceive us and worry a bit more how we perceive him/her.

OR... a future where they graduate with massive debt, where they are one accident away from bankruptcy through medical bills, where the sea, air, and land are polluted, and their minimum wage is crap with no right to housing

No proof of Moscow Mitch stockpiling bills? Of Russian hacking? Of people dieing without insurance ( Harvard and Yale studies say M4A saves 60,000+ lives a year)No proof of Trump spending days on the golf course and its cost?
You are having a laugh, surely?
These are the things you are saying are OK,along with his illegalities!
I know you think that this thread is one massive circle jerk, but surely any objective outside observer can see how awful a person is holding such a high, and once respected, office.

Perhaps and perhaps not. You can let us worry about that.

Easy solution, 3 November, 2020. If we choose him again, then that is what we choose. Perhaps concerning yourself with the Boris and the future of the U.K. would serve you better. smile

Here we go. Intel briefers may have overstated the Russian help to Trump. One of the officers lacked evidence to make that assertion. Now, since it’s CNN, they allow the article to be filled with an editorial from a Dem lawmaker slamming Trump. Can’t simply report the news. LOL.

The only "triggered" person I see here is you. You keep saying you're going away for a few days or off to enjoy the weekend, yet here you still are, the most prolific poster on this thread.

Triggered.

This is a thread about Trump. We're discussing Trump.

Jimbo thinks we should be talking about Boris.

It's not that hard to understand if you read carefully. Have another go if you need to.

I'd say he's perfectly within his right to say look closer to home considering you're British and he's American.
Who made you arbiter of what's discussed?

It's called staying on topic and not throwing out irrelevant squirrels.

You ought to know that you're far, far less clever than you think you are.

Oh not at all. I think you should reserve some of your energy for something you can effect. smile
