I post in response. Post what you want but if you confront or question me, I will respond. If I were not in response mode, I would post far less.
What on earth is "response mode"? You've repeatedly said you're going away for a bit but you just can't keep away. You've also posted a fair bit without being asked/questioned/provoked.

There is nothing wrong with that of course, that's what forums are for - posting what you want - even though you've said a few times we shouldn't be posting about Trump and to worry about other things instead.

There's a word for that.

This is a thread about Trump. We're discussing Trump.

Jimbo thinks we should be talking about Boris.

It's not that hard to understand if you read carefully. Have another go if you need to.
Oh not at all. I think you should reserve some of your energy for something you can effect. smile
I don’t think it’s fair to suggest people posting here focus on Brexit, as the answer to that is that there are threads to talk about Brexit/the UK, but this one is about trump.

I’d also like to point out, Jim, if I may, that some of us have significant business and personal ties in the US, so it’s not just those looking on in horror from afar posting here.;)

Yes Paul, I am aware of that and it’s been mentioned by some on here.

If you read back on here, I'm one of the few posters who agrees with your point of view - I think Trump is absolutely nailed on for a second term.

Still don't believe you though. That said, it's a simple matter to prove me wrong and make me eat crow.

Everyone has a camera on their phone nowadays, just put up a shot of your boat (no identifying marks obviously), or your surroundings.

Ball is in your court.
You called an American out for claiming to own a boat? Seriously? hehe There are 12 million *registered* boats in the US!

I don’t know, but now that you put it that way, it must have some bearing. How can we deny it? smile

No Sir, there is no need for that. One upping one another really serves no purpose I can think of TBH; especially when I am positive we have more in common than not. You could owe me a visit though if you pass this way. Maybe we can go for a ride and you can take some pics.....or wrestle an alligator if that is more your style. I’ll hold the camera. smile

Remembering all the games Stone played during his trial.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson has denied a motion from Roger Stone seeking her recusal from deciding a new trial.

Judge Jackson said Stone's legal team did not provide any "factual or legal support" to have her removed from presiding over his case

"Given the absence of any factual or legal support for the motion ... the pleading appears to be nothing more than an attempt to use the Court’s docket to disseminate a statement for public consumption that has the words 'judge' and 'biased' in it."

The Trump White House and its allies, over the past 18 months, assembled detailed lists of disloyal government officials to oust — and trusted pro-Trump people to replace them — according to more than a dozen sources familiar who spoke to Axios

While Trump's distrust has only intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, he has long been on the hunt for "bad people" inside the White House and U.S. government, and fresh "pro-Trump" options. Outside advisers have been happy to oblige

https://www.axios.com/trump-memos-deep-state-white...

History shows there's no better way to get yourself in with trump other than to tell stories about others being disloyal.

Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is working to identify members of the “deep state” who are “disloyal” to Trump so he can replace them

Trump threatening Schiff?

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Somebody please tell incompetent (thanks for my high poll numbers) & corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff to stop leaking Classified information or, even worse, made up information, to the Fake News Media. Someday he will be caught, & that will be a very unpleasant experience!

The president of the US, threatening someone with a “very unpleasant experience” is the kind of nonspecific thing that a mobster would say when he’s implying he’s going to use violence against someone, just days after one of his supporters was charged with leaving threatening phone calls.

Axios.

"Some of the big trends that drive our coverage...

America’s capitalistic system brims with economic possibilities but is stacked to favor the powerful and rich, exacerbating inequalities that need to be addressed"

I'm sure that won't prevent them from making unbiased editorial decisions when discussing the powerful and rich President Trump.

There's no inference of violence in that tweet.

Wouldn't leaking classified information be a criminal offence?

The only "triggered" person I see here is you. You keep saying you're going away for a few days or off to enjoy the weekend, yet here you still are, the most prolific poster on this thread.

Triggered.
Hilarious isn't it. He's always off for the day/afternoon/evening to do something "worthwhile" and urges us to do the same in a condescending sneering manner, yet he's always back within a few hours.

That’s what I thought. So why does Trump think that leaking “”made up” information is worse?

I'm ignoring JB, not worth going down his/hers rabbit holes,

but this is the Potus and comes just two days after A man in New York has been charged with making death threats against Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), citing their role in the impeachment effort against President Trump.

https://thehill.com/homenews/news/484088-new-york-...

We know what impact his words have - this was a story from last year 36 cases invoking 'Trump' in connection with violence, threats, alleged assaults.
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/blame-abc-news-fin...

and trump has stepped up rhetoric this year as he was indicted, and the repercussions from him since
