I bet that stretcher hurt like a bd.
We were down to 2 on mine at just over halfway, me at 5' 9" and a dark green lad at 6' 2". The DS staff stepped in and all were over 6 foot. It bounced like fk and my ears were almost hanging off (probably).
Fair play to her - I bet she won the milling
Some knobhead on another forum was claiming she'd struggle to do the jumps course. Mate, if you can get through P Coy, then pissing about over Weston and surviving a night in Carterton is piss easy.
Quite right. Getting chucked out of an Albert is the easy bit ( do they still use Hercs?)We were down to 2 on mine at just over halfway, me at 5' 9" and a dark green lad at 6' 2". The DS staff stepped in and all were over 6 foot. It bounced like fk and my ears were almost hanging off (probably).

Good for her that's a big achievement, from what I read she is basically a professional athlete so has a lot of experience with endurance.
That's why so many people fail the USAF PJ selection because so much of it is in the pool and there is almost no way to train for it you can either take it or you cant your actual physical fitness is not as critical. I believe its not uncommon to have pass rates of 0% mostly due to psychological rather than physical problems. Indoc is another 8 weeks, and again its happened where no one has passed. That's just to get into training (2 years more!).

Honestly that’s just rude and a great example of why women feel undermined so often. She’s done a brilliant job, first to pass since being able to in the 90’s(!!!), achieved captain, in a male dominated environment - well done to her. Petrus1983 said:

I read that as a comment regarding more women passing the Marine course from as far back as 2002 and this is the first for the Paras.
My bad then. When I did P Coy the longest event was 10 miles, but it was done at pace. So short and sharp. I believe the Marines have longer strolls, but go slower, and have some naked mat rolling event.

Pretty good making Captain in 3 years.
Everyone does, unless you've seriously ballsed up.If you're a good runner P Coy is pretty easy. That's coming from me who never did it but was repeated by a lot of my friends who did.
Sword of honour is not to be sniffed at though.

I wonder how the milling went, the poor sod who got her lost if he lost and lost if he won.
Would they even let a woman mill with a bloke? I hope they did.I wonder how the milling went, the poor sod who got her lost if he lost and lost if he won.
