For years we’ve done online shopping etc on our Mac desktop, but all of a sudden when you come to send payment it just spins for eternity.
Doesn’t matter what we try to buy - shopping from Sainsbury’s, tickets, etc.

Jump onto the iPad and it works fine so isn’t our internet.
Doesn’t appear to be any updates available for the Mac either (although it’s quite old).

Anything I should do?
TIA.

Do you have an ad blocker installed on the Mac?

No there isn’t.
I have one on the iPad though!

Is it the Safari option "Settings for this website"?
Click Safari name at the top, then select the above, it will present a few options.

I don't have any problems but had to mess around in there for one or two sites.

Edit. What version are you running? I think our bank has stopped access via a first version iPad mini.
Edit 2. Does the version you have comply with the bank.

Try a different browser on the Mac? Chrome, Firefox, Safari are all pretty good.

Version is Yosemite 10.10.5
No updates available.

It’s pretty old (2007...)

Safari version is 10.1.2

I’ve cleared cookies in the Privacy setting (manage website data) for TSB, should that help?

I suspect the problem is your browser is horrendously out of date, and Apple are no longer issuing updates to it for OS-X Yosemite. Try installing the latest version of Chrome which does support Yosemite.

Had similar ordering from Sainsburys. When you get to the card verification window, try right click and open as new tab.
