Was looking to change the wifes phone contract when sky called, ul & calls text etc, 10gb data with roll over, £7.50 a month if taken on 12 month contract!
Makes you wonder how much cheaper it will get.

USwitch has a searchable list IIRC.

(Omio was subsumed into them.)

A lot - A few weeks ago took out a couple of 12 month sims with Three - ul & calls text and 8gb data for £6 a month and £42 cashback each, so effectively £2.50 a month.

Both my wife and I signed up for these maybe 5 months ago. 8gb and £7 each. Data rolls over too and we have 40gb or so kicking around.

I'm with Smarty, on all of their sim only deals apart from Unlimited they discount you £ for unused data.

I pay £5/m for unlimited calls and text and 20GB data. 12mth sim only from EE. I walked into a shop and asked for a deal, they're on an incentive so will try hard.

Never heard of anything that cheap from EE. I assume it doesn’t include the non-EU roaming element though?

You’ve struck gold there! Especially as it’s EE. I called them up yesterday and they could only offer me the new customer deals as on their website. £20/month for 20GB data.

o2 currently offering 100gb data, unlimited calls/ texts for £20 a month on an 18month deal.

I have zero need for 100gb but it’s £2 cheaper per month than when I was getting 25gb of data.

oh and they offered half price apple airpods at the end of the conversation. took them up on that, for £80 i could have sold them straight away for profit!

If you travel a lot as I do you should look at Three Mobile. Their deals can include roaming in countries such as USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and many others. Saved me a fortune over the years.

If you mean can I use my minutes/data in the European zone then yes.

No, non-euro zone, so the USA for instance ... part of their “max” plans

Ah, then no it's just a standard UK sim only contract.

Thanks will give it a try. Was under the impression that you could only negotiate phone contracts in store.

I've just signed up (as in haven't received the sim yet) to EE on a 60GB £20/m for 18 months - Was on the EE website so there are some deals to be had.

£5/m for 20gb is amazing though.

yes
Was surprised they didn't include Canada but heyho, when messing about around Niagra a couple of months ago the phone signal didn't know whether it was coming or going or if I had roaming data/calls etc or not wobble

Tell them you're about to switch, go armed with some details of a better deal from another provider. I was going to switch to Plusnet who where doing a £6/m deal at the time.

RE MVNOs; I kind of agree. I’m with Virgin at the moment, poor customer service with their call centres based out in Asia somewhere, no loyalty discounts and although it runs on the EE network, speed is lower and coverage not as good. Their SIM only deals and prices are some of the best out there though, and they also do data rollover.
