What makes you think those complaining are from yorkshire?

They probably drink soy frapamachalatte in London and love virtue signaling.

Probably phers.

Gods County? A lad I used to work with told me there are only two types of people in the world; people from Yorkshire, and people who wish they were from Yorkshire laugh

Best tea you can buy though.

Are "lefty people" actually boycotting this product in great numbers, or have some fruitcake sadsacks on the internet had a seemingly vocal but relatively insignificant group tantrum?

Some well known fruitcake sad sacks. Andrew Adonis did his best to stir it up.

Well my point a bit more than - how bloody dare you go after Yorkshire at all - was that whilst both sides have their windy idiots....

In 2017 when Red Jezza suggested a cup of Yorkshire with Crazy Donald, queue a bit of piss taking.

When the Blue Chancellor mentions the same brand, a pretty loud volume of lefties chomping their gums online to enough of a degree the company actually responds and it makes the BBC.

That's probably not an unusual situation for a Yorkshire man, to be fair.

It's just another example of the sort of sad lefties who just want to have a pop at anything or anyone they think doesn't agree with them. They're just angry that they've lost the argument and see no signs of getting any sort of act together. Also they don't understand that such behaviour is counter productive to their cause.

There's worse out there, but that doesn't get the publicity this has. Yet when you try and point it out you just get foul insults.
