One way or another WE are paying for this. The alternative is getting your kids and grandkids to pay for it.
I vote for option 2

In a way Keir should be the right guy for the job.
Based on that he has upset both left and right factions. Only today it looks like Tony Blair has offered advice to junk woke stuff
Don't worry Keir, Blair will go quiet again for a bit, maybe.

This thread's as quiet as Starmer.

I was a bit shocked to see him at the despatch box on the news (could have been a recording though I guess).

Has he fixed the party yet?

Not yet.
He's busy fixing the investigation into the party.

Actually he's busy trying to define how to address people to be totally diverse with LGBT then he will then work on fixing the investigation into the party using the politically correct way of addressing.

Once he has addressed the party he will then focus on criticising Boris' curtains or something then once he has run out of reasons he will then have to focus on Labour's policies.

On Monday Guido called out Sir Keir’s ever-changing Beergate story, finally admitting that the numbers in attendance were far higher than the six he’d originally claimed. On Monday the new figure was placed at 15, today another five have been found – taking the attendees to a whopping 20. Oh beer, oh beer…

It was clear Starmer was lying through his teeth when the delivery guy mentioned 30 or so curries being dropped off. Oh what a tangled web . . .

You really are desperate aren't you hehe

Let's see if the quisling follows his word if he is fined.

All in all, a complete waste of Police and our time come to think of it.

Wouldn't you be if you spent all day, every day, 7 days a week on PH?

Indeed! 40,000 posts is impressively sad.

Whatever happens we blessed
If nothing happens Keir can continue to be leader and doing the most brilliantly brilliant ways of getting through to people on the important stuff.
If Keir goes we can have a new leader who can pop his (or her) stamp on the party and maybe go a bit more left of centre and lecture us about why anyone not aggreeing with them isn't right
Burgon is probably the greatest leader in waiting Labour has and I'm sure that once (if it was to happen) he became leader people would get to love him a lot more
Things can only get better

An excellent title for an inspirational song to lead Burgon to victory.
Rumours of using a tweaked Tom Robinson band classic for the election are rife.
“6, 15, 20, 30, Motorway” just doesn’t have the same energy to it.

Starmer in more trouble today, there is a suggestion that certain members of the Labour party made up allegations of impropriety against the Tory PCC for Cleveland which after investigation were found to be a pack of lies. Steve Turner has now called on Starmer to apologise as he called for him to resign...

It seems that resigning for being investigated still only applies to Tories. hehe

Shocker. For a man who picks so few battles he does seem to have some terribly bad luck.

Amusing as the hypocrisy is and as low as my opinion of politicians in general is, I do wonder how many of these allegations are politically motivated. Isn’t it something like 10% of MPs being currently investigated for sexual offences? That seems like quite a lot to me over a whole term let alone at a given point in time. One way or the other things seem to be pretty grubby.

I dont doubt there are rotten apples in parliament, but there does seem to be a higher percentage then I would...expect?

Anyhow, I keep saying it. Burgon only as a shadow minister becauss the next Labour leader must either be a womam, identify as one or know what one is. Its 2022. The only mainstream party never to have had a female leader.....
