Our NP&E forum is a content hub of news from around the world, with an incredible array of knowledge. Many of you will know that discussion here yields sensitive subjects, that many feel very passionately about and things can get pretty heated sometimes. We encourage discussion and debate – but there is a line to be drawn and you have to abide by our posting rules that you agreed to when you signed up to PistonHeads.

As PistonHeads is first and foremost a motoring community, we will only let engaged car enthusiasts in our community post in NP&E. To post here, you will need to have been a member on PH for a minimum of a year and posted at least 1,000 times in our motoring forums.

Firstly, we’d like to remind you of our rules of posting before you join any discussions – if you break these rules your comment will be deleted, and you may be suspended or banned from the forums.

Additional notes for members participating in this forum are:
  • Please resist getting too heated. Discussions can spiral downwards incredibly quickly and remember, it’s only an internet forum
  • If you see another user breaking the rules, don’t antagonise – just click the 'report' button on the post to alert our moderators
  • Trolling and arguing for the sake of it is not acceptable
  • Remember that people are entitled to an opinion that’s different from yours
  • It goes without saying, racism and hate speech is utterly unacceptable. Users that disagree will be banned from the site, and potentially reported to the police
  • No abusive comments
  • Do not copy and paste articles from newspapers or news sites (this is a breach of their copyright and any such threads will be deleted)
  • If you report users to the moderators who you believe are returning banned members, please let us know who you think the banned member is/was
  • If you’ve broken our rules and have been banned from the site, you may not join the site again. A ban is a ban
  • Finally – our moderation is reactive so we rely on members reporting content to us. If it's not reported, then we won't see it to take action
Thank you for your cooperation, and with the rules fresh in your memory, go forth and enjoy!
