There is definitely a significant change, even taking into account the removal of the other democrat choices.

Multiple polls are now showing trump and Joe Biden tied in Texas so the Dems are having a massive push to register voters.

Some interesting figures
Texas currently has one of the lowest voter registration rates in the country, with 16.2 million registered voters and another 5.5 million Texans who could register and vote. 2 million registered women voters have never voted.

We've seen in other states how the GOP have restricted voting, removing voters from the database, closing voting stations. Be interesting to see how this push goes. There's already reports of large numbers registering to vote in all states over the last two weeks due to the protests

North Carolina is the same, currently tied
https://www.rawstory.com/2020/06/trump-may-fatally...

Arizona
A new Fox News poll of registered voters in Arizona shows Democrat Mark Kelly miles ahead of Republican Sen. Martha McSally — 50% to 37% — with 8% undecided.

Further, McSally’s problems appear to come from within her own party. While Kelly enjoys the support of nearly 90% of Democrats, only 73% of Arizona Republicans back McSally.

Trump himself did not perform well in the same survey, getting edged out 46% to 42% by presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, with 5% of voters undecided

There's nothing that has happened during the Trump era to indicate that the national polling showing him to be unpopular or behind Biden is wrong. The national polling in 2016 had Trump losing the popular vote by 3 to 4 points. He lost it by 2 points. The national generic congressional ballot had Democrats ahead by nearly 9 points heading into the 2018 midterm. They won it by nearly 9 points.

Trump's approval rating on race relations in a CBS News poll out this week was 33%.
A nearly identical 32% told the ABC News/Ipsos KnowledgePanel poll they disapprove of Trump's "response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis."

On the popular vote trump is behind, from anywhere from 7 to 11 points

It's still too close to call imo. Biden should walk it, but it depends on how much of the st Trump flings that sticks.

4 years ago the Democrats set up a smear campaign and pushed the Black LIves Matter agenda. Clinton was a huge favourite to win and we know how that went.

4 years later the Democrats push the Black Lives Matter agenda and have spent the last 4 years trying to smear and impeach Trump.

Biden is the favourite at the bookies but I suspect not a lot has changed for people who backed Trump 4 years ago. Only way BIden wins is if more people are motivated to get out and vote on the basis of "anyone but Trump".

Wait, what? How about her emails, lock her up, pizzagate etc etc? The Trump campaign slung a tonne of st.

Trump lost the popular vote and got in due to the electoral college system. Against HRC who was way more divisive than Biden is.

Now some of the GOP is turning against Trump, some are retiring but some are coming out against him. Covid and these protests have shown him up as incompetent, happy to take the credit when it's good but unable to cope when it isn't.

However, it's by no means a foregone conclusion. Plenty of his base will lap up the bullst.

But as the saying goes: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Nonsense. They've simply tried to hold trump accountable for what he's done. They have not attempted to 'smear' at all.

Really? Seems like every little thing he does people critique and try to make fun of. The way he walks, opens a door, shakes someone's hand etc.

I think there's a silent majority which the left try to block out by screaming and shouting and there's a good chance things may not go according to the script again..

She won the popular vote but Trump was elected because of winning most Electoral College votes. Most people at the time were convinced that Trump was a complete wuckfit who couldn't run an orgy in a brewery and we know how that went.

Why are you so obsessed with linking the Dems to BLM? They're linked only insofar as Politicians will reflect what the "people" want them to (or at least pretend to). Suggesting that this is some kind of Dem-led movement if fruit-looped wibble.

Agreed.

If you're going to quote me then please don't insert things which I never said.

It's no coincidence that the last time BLM sprung up was 4 years ago. Or maybe you're just really naive how this game works.

There's a significant minority on the far-right that have coalesced behind Trump. The majority didn't vote for him last time and I doubt his vote share amongst independents has increased.

AIUI the "Script" has him as favourite so let's hope things don't go with it.

It started in 2013. There appear to have been peaks and troughs in activity but nothing correlating to the election cycle.

What makes you think it's linked to the Democrats?

Go look at Google trends for 'Black lives matter' and how much it's been searched for in the US since 2004.

Nobody gave a st to look this up in 2013. There was only interest in 2016. Roughly about 4 years and I wonder what was coming up around 4 years ago...

Well yes, they do, because this is a fellow who is not capable of operating an umbrella.

He was impeached, however, for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Not for silly walking or odd hand-shaking

He was impeached by the House of Representatives. Which also happens to be a Democrat majority.

It's all a political game.

He was impeached because he broke the law. The Reps blocked it because they have a majority - which was a political game.

What does Google Trends have to do with democrats? Was BLM an election issue? Did HRC use it in any of her speeches or debates? I know it's peaked and troughed whenever certain incidents have happened (as to be expected). What I don't see is what is some kind of masterplan by the Dems
