In response to the WH trying to smear Fauci

Joe Biden
@JoeBiden
It's hard to believe this has to be said, but unlike this president, I'll actually listen to the experts and heed their advice. Not silence them.

Not long now until the GOP conference in Florida

While 29 states saw an increase in new cases compared to last week, Miami-Dade County in Florida on Friday reported a staggering 28% positivity rate, or the percentage of people tested who test positive for the coronavirus.
Mayor Carlos Gimenez's office said the goal is to not exceed a positivity rate of 10%, but the county has exceeded the 18% mark for the past 14 days. On Thursday, it was 33.5%.

Over the past 13 days, hospitalizations in Miami-Dade County have gone up by 74%, the number of beds in intensive care units being used has increased by 88% and the use of ventilators has soared by 123%, according to the latest data from the county government.

Yesterday Florida reported 15,300 new confirmed coronavirus cases.

The @WhiteHouse does not deny the @CIA assessed that Russia paid money to people to kill US troops.

The @WhiteHouse does not deny the intel was in the Feb 27th President’s Daily Brief.

And @realDonaldTrump still has not uttered a single word condemning Vladimir Putin.

LOL trump tweeted about his golf

I know many in business and politics that work out endlessly, in some cases to a point of exhaustion. It is their number one passion in life, but nobody complains. My “exercise” is playing, almost never during the week, a quick round of golf. Obama played more and much longer rounds, no problem. When I play, Fake News CNN, and others, park themselves anywhere they can to get a picture, then scream “President Trump is playing golf.” Actually, I play VERY fast, get a lot of work done on the golf course, and also get a “tiny” bit of exercise. Not bad!

All lies of course, trumps played almost three times as much golf as Obama and Obama didn't own the golf course and used it to push govt money into his business. We've seen from the video he drives right to the ball so that exercise excuse is out, we also know he was 'uncontactable' for hours whilst he was playing golf...

After Muellers WP oped, Lindsey Graham, now the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, tweeted: “Apparently Mr. Mueller is willing – and also capable – of defending the Mueller investigation through an oped in the Washington Post. Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have previously requested Mr. Mueller appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about his investigation. That request will be granted.”

When Robert Mueller testified to the House Judiciary Committee a little under a year ago, he declined to answer many of the questions from both parties,so one can only assume Graham thinks he'll do the same again and he can make him look foolish.

Surely though this will just give Mueller a platform to expand about Stones guilt and how corrupt Donald Trump’s commutation of Stone’s prison sentence is and put it on TV, a stronger medium in the US that just a WP oped...

Looks kinda.... unusual.

The Twitter love from the MAGA crowd for this photo-op was incredible - "he's so presidential", "he looks badass", and there were those "joe Biden is finished" and of course these were all from people who days previously had been on Twitter saying "i'm not wearing a mask for anyone".

So, good that he's worn one - albeit only when entering a military medical facility (with a rule of everyone has to wear a mask) and surrounded by men in highly decorated uniforms so the photo op is all power, strength, macho - but i suspect he won't be wearing one elsewhere in a hurry.

He later said in an interview "i've never been against masks"...when there's numerous videos of him deriding those wearing masks and stating he's not going to wear one.

I don't know much about much, but it looks like current deaths might be lagging cases by about two weeks - so what are they going to look like by September....

Hasn't she just used it as a means of enriching herself further? Like most of them?

''Donald Trump has claimed the UK has asked the United States for 200 "desperately needed" ventilators due to a shortage amid the coronavirus crisis.

The US leader described Britain as “great partners” as he said “we’ve got to work it out” and help with the supply of the life-saving equipment.''

At a time when it wasn't a popular thing.

Also US drug companies offered assitance.

The rel issue is Obama distanced himself from old friends like the UK, whereas Trump has embraced them. Sometimes it is better the Devil you know.
Trump embracing old friends ?

Like Nato ?

Like the EU ?

Or do you mean like Putin and love letters with Rocket man ?

Is that the type of embrace you mean ?

Not sure what her angle is but IIRC her brother (not the one that runs Blackwater) or some other close relative runs a firm dealing with student loans meaning any decisions she makes on those have a direct benefit to her family.

That said, she is stonkingly rich anyway, probably moreso than the Orange stgibbon himself, so not sure she can make THAT much off having the position itself.

Yep, that's not an unexpected lag. Sadly, I think the latest forecast of c.210,000 deaths in the USA by the end of October is undercalling it.

Thats ok to trump as he said that back in March

“You’re talking about 2.2 million deaths,” Trump said, referring to an Imperial College study that identified 2.2 million people as the high end of how many Americans could die if no measures were taken to slow the spread of coronavirus. “So if we can hold that down, as we’re saying, to 100,000, it’s a horrible number, maybe even less, but to 100,000, so we have between 100 [thousand] and 200,000, we altogether have done a very good job.”
