I'm another Henry fan. Brilliant things. Can use them for EVERYTHING! Good value, basic, reliable and powerful!
Yup me too.Mine was secondhand to me 20 years ago and has survived decades of abuse on building sites, catching fire and falling off a scaffold tower. He's covered in paint, the hose has been Gaffa taped up and it still sucks like a Crack we gagging for her next hit.
I have a Shark duoclean lift away NZ801UKT
Very quiet, the dual roller head is great for caret and hard floors, the anti hair wrap realy works, both my daughter and wife have realy long hair, this is the only vack that never has hair wrapped up in it.
The lift away function is great for the stairs.
About £250.

This is what we use. It’s really good on carpets, less so on hard floors where it feels a bit weighty. Positives far outweigh the negatives though and would recommend. We will be getting a shark handheld when the Dyson gives up the ghostVery quiet, the dual roller head is great for caret and hard floors, the anti hair wrap realy works, both my daughter and wife have realy long hair, this is the only vack that never has hair wrapped up in it.

We have a Shark cordless and a Dyson cordless.
The Dyson is well designed, but poorly implemented. It's made of very cheap plastics and we're on our 3rd power head due to the well known pulsing problem.
The Shark feels less well designed, but actually works very well. My wife hasn't used the Dyson since buying the Shark.

+1 - good explanation The Dyson is well designed, but poorly implemented. It's made of very cheap plastics and we're on our 3rd power head due to the well known pulsing problem.

A couple of months back purchased the Shark cordless that comes with 2 batteries. To be honest we could have done the whole 3 bed semi on one battery as we have more hard floors than carpet and it just seems to keep going. Miles better than the corded Vac that's now been relegated to shed duties.
As above - get over to the Robovac thread on PH......
