I believe the seats were bespoke for TVR?

Best option would be to get them re-covered by a trim shop.

Or look at fitting alternatives, Mazda MX5, or Eunos I think they call it over there, are popular.

I tried some Miata (MX-5) seats and ultimately went back to the originals. I found the headrest speakers from the Miata fit into the TVR headrests. There are some write ups on here and maybe on TVRCCNA if you go the swap.

The seats were a modified Triumph design, TR7 IIRC. The modification is because of the wide transmittion tunnel. Many BL seats at the time were of a similar design.

Any competent trimmer can sort them out for you.

Hi, this didn't post this morning for some reason:
Wedg1e said:
The Wedge seats were made (at least initially) by Callow & Maddox Brothers (Cambro) in Coventry. Althought they share the same method of construction as a good many other Brit cars, they aren't the same as any of them. However, I had a few seating problems with my Tasmin, and the following may be of some help...
The seat base is sprung with a simple lattice of steel wires. These corrode (especially in the DHCs) and cause the base to sag, leading to crushed foam and split coverings. The foam is special to the seat, as the Wedge seat is deep under the thigh.
Metro seats use the same springing, but are wider, so the wires can be snipped from the Metro seat and attached to the TVRs.
The Metro slides have the same front-rear mounting pitch, but are wider and have a latch on each slide, linked by a rail across the front. The Wedge seats only latch one rail. I cut a section from the adjuster rail on the Metro seats and welded the ends together at the correct width for the TVR, thus improving the seat security (easier to adjust, too, by pulling up the lever between one's legs! Ooer...).
The foam padding and split seams etc. can be repaired by a competent vehicle upholsterer at minimal cost.
I acquired a damaged pair of seats for my Tasmin to replace the Cobra bucket that was in when I bought the car. It was a pain to climb in and out of, and the foam padding kept rolling around the seat tubes. The guy I got the seats from replaced them in his car with the electric leather jobs from a Rover ?400 series, minus the motors. They went straight onto the original slides, if I recall. Hence my need to use Metro slides!

A company in Texas (USA) makes leather replacement seat covers for the wedge that fit well and are well made. I did mine in December. Not expensive. It was an afternoon job. I don’t have the info right now but will look tomorrow. I found them with an internet search. I did add a lumbar badder to the driver seat that adjusted with a squeeze bulb. Came from Moss motors here in the States.

Thanks for the review,
Had found them on search and was just about to order seats from them,
Is it your review on their site too.
Did you just go standard color or change it up.
I was going to get Black with Red piping and embossed logo
for Red 280i.
Got to get seat frame welded first, cheers.

I think LSEAT was a job shop out of China. Don't know what happened to them. I didn't get as far as reaching out to them.
