Peter Grant (SNP) - an utterly contemptible f*ckwit of a man, completely useless as a constituency MP unless you support 'his' orthodoxy. Is on record as saying he will refuse to represent anyone who does not support Scottish independence, regularly blocks constituents on social media who express genuine concerns or call him out about debating positions or voting intentions in the HoC. Invariably looks like a piss stained tramp who fell out of an industrial dumpster. An embarrassment to the constituency, but sadly as he's SNP, there are sufficient quantities of idiots fooled by the promises of independence to keep voting him in. They really could put forward a braindead turnip with a yellow rosette and it would get elected. Oh, hang on, they did, and he was.

Iain Stewart apparently a former accountant and honestly looks like the stereotypical beancounter.

However I have had a couple of dealings with him and he has been supportive if a little ineffectual. So I am ok with him.

David Simmonds. Not sure if he's any good, as he only got elected in December. But he's not Boris Johnson, who is the neighbouring area, so just grateful for small mercies.

To be honest, my cat could get in by wearing a blue rosette around our way.

Previous incumbent was pretty good. New boy, Craig Williams. Will give him the benefit of the doubt, but I think he's quite well suited to a safe seat, if you see what I mean.

It used to be Zac Goldsmith. I have 2 'homes' but used my second one for electoral register. He was very good (and would reply to letters etc.) but it's a Remoaner borough and he didn't always toe the party line so lost to some Lib Dem lady who doesn't answer questions very well ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-DHqFikHoA ).

John Redwood is ours. Only lived in the constituency for the last year, so no real idea on how he is.

Previously had Dr Phillip Lee in Bracknell Forest, seemed ok till he defected over to the Lib Dems.

Our previous MP, the wonderful bell end that was David Treddinnick, who felt Astrology was the answer to all the NHS's woes. has thankfully been replaced by Dr Luke Evans, who actually lives here for a start, and isn't a tt in the slightest if first impressions are anything to go buy.

He visited my wife's office recently and was very keen to understand the impact Covid was having at a business and personal level.

I live in hope.

Kenny MacAskill SNP - East Lothian (not that he lives in the constituency he represents)

For those familiar with Scottish politics I probably don’t need to add anything more.

Nigel Adams, Conservative, Selby and Ainsty.

I have voted for Mr Adams twice now (only because Corbyn was the worse choice). Never again, Nige.

However, this is a very safe seat and Mr Adams majority just keeps rising somehow.

Alex Sobel (Labour) pretty useless to be honest, does very little in the local area. He was voted in on a wave of student support for Jeremy Corbyns labour party.
Previous one was a Lib Dem for many years and whilst I have no support for them as a party he was a pretty decent guy and did a lot of work on local issues and he was seen to be out doing his job for the area.
Replaced Greg Mulholland, who was one of the few LDs who retained his seat after the coalition. Greg was a hard-working local MP who had a lot of respect from the local population and could often be seen offering surgeries at weekends in the local supermarket, with his offices in the same parade of shops (very low-end, low budget space). He got involved at my stepson's old rugby club when they were trying to replace a complex of council garages (there were actually only 2 left) in order to build changing rooms and facilities for a vibrant junior rugby league club

Sobel, I couldn't name you a thing he has done or have ever seen him

I'm not an LD but voted for Greg based on him being the best man for the job locally and was sad to see him go

Tahir Ali

Replaced long standing Roger Godsiff, who was deselected from the labour party.

New guy has not been seen or heard of since he was elected, local facebookers are up in arms over his ghost like appearances, lack of replying to correspondence, and apparently he still works for the post office in some capacity.

So no, he's not good

Suella Braverman. Would be out of her depth in a shallow puddle never mind the office she holds. She’ll keep getting elected though, Fareham has always been a Con seat, 111 years as it’s own constituency and another 24 years as part of another (also always Con).

Huw Merriman (Con, Bexhill and Battle). He's a pretty active constituency MP, who actually lived in the constituency or thereabouts for a decade or so before he was elected. These should be expected but are nonetheless surprising for someone in a very safe seat. Also Chair of the Transport select committee and whilst I don't always agree with what they come up with, you can't fault him in terms of commitment and energy on the topic. He also hasn't gone totally career barmy (yet).

Literally just to the West of us in Wealden is Nus Ghani (Con) of the same 2015 intake. Has gone completely career barmy, rarely seen in the constituency and still got the boot as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport. The latter seemed unfathomable to me at the time- she acted like she wanted to know all there was about Maritime, but sadly not about Wealden.

Same here. I've met her and she's a very pleasant lady. However, if you look in the dictionary under "toeing the party line" you'll find it simply says: Suella Braverman. The fact that she's the Attorney General is both staggering and depressing.

Indeed. The same applies for a great many seats across Scotland sadly - pin a yellow rosette on a potted wallflower and it would get elected.

Her voting record doesn’t speak much for her character. She’s awful at responding to correspondence as well. I’m sure there are worse than he though
