I've got Stephen Kinnock.
Never see him, one of the safest seats in the UK, doesn't seem to actually talk to his constituency or listen to their views. Pointless voting here

Bim Afolami, replaced Peter Lilley in 2017, and has managed to steadily erode Lilley's majority since.

Could cut and paste many of the quotes from the previous pages regarding effectiveness, but his two standout qualities are an ability to perform an about face on strongly held stances at the behest of his masters, and a willingness to claim personal credit for the successes of others while shrugging off his own ineffectualness.

Will presumably end up with a minor post in cabinet under Johnson's tenure.

Literally just to the West of us in Wealden is Nus Ghani (Con) of the same 2015 intake. Has gone completely career barmy, rarely seen in the constituency and still got the boot as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport. The latter seemed unfathomable to me at the time- she acted like she wanted to know all there was about Maritime, but sadly not about Wealden.
Yep - that's my MP. I remember her general election guff sent through the post - her USP seems to be she was the first female in her entire family to attend university. I've emailed her a couple of times - usual automated crap responses 'due to covid it could take a while to reply to your query...' or words to that effect. Still waiting, 4 months on.....
She appears to be the female equivalent of a 'yes man', so probably ticks all the right boxes, including diversity, gender, not responding to even reasonable questions, invisible most of the time, involved in banking, etc etc. Up there with Priti Useless I suppose; I won't bother voting for the foreseeable, as there are currently no other options.

I would not say never shy, keeping his head well and truly down atm
Remind me who he is. Former junior Conservative minister? In his 50's? That the one?

Florence Eshalomi. Was born in the Borough, worked as a councillour for the Borough, represented them in the London Assembly, and defeated the flown in Momentum candiate in the hustings to represent Labour.

She seems decent enough, and actually understands the area she represents.

Alberto Costa, Doesn't seem to do an awful lot but does put quite a lot of detail in to what he's been doing on Facebook without actually revealing what he's been doing.

Also seems to support a lot of things the locals don't

If I were to describe him using only plant based comparisons I'd probably go with lettuce.

Reminds me of a story Ted Heath used to tell, when he first stood as MP for Old Bexley. He was giving a speech in the town centre, and said "I was born in Kent, went to school in Kent, bought my first house in Kent, and have always lived in Kent."

And someone shouts out "I hope you hurry up and die in Kent"

Complete bell end. Career mad but lost his ministerial career under Johnson. I hear he did good things in NI but as a local MP crap.
One of the biggest majorities in the U.K.
My sons grammar school went to London to see him in parliament but he was too busy and important to give them 5 minutes for a pre arranged visit.
If he was caught balls deep in a Texel sheep he would still get voted in around here as they see nothing but the colour of his rosette.
He doesn’t respond to emails. I think it’s below him. He is a Pratt. A waste of office. He will be there taking his salary and expenses until he’s 70 but doing no good for the constituents whilst also pocketing a few tens of thousands a year as a consultant.

I don’t think much of him.

She was a great comic actress though, fabulous in A Bit Of A Do. And as Curly's girlfriend in Corrie.

John Whittingdale.

Nice enough chap. Lives in the area - often see him pushing a trolley round Morrisons. Very responsive and effective to local issues. Always attends the Parish Council Meeting. I did think him a little dry but emerged a few years ago that following his divorce, he entered into a relationship with a 'sex worker' and had received 'hospitality' from a Lap dancing club.

Ranil Jayawardena.. seems good. Drives around in a FFRR... agreed with me that stupid how Hampshire council is dropping speedlimits on local dual carriageways. Active in local events, attends kids school activities. Has been part of JP trade deal, and promoting Hampshire's Bubbly wine production (better than that French muck now....). Overall a good un I think.

James Sunderland.
Not really seen or heard much from him, but his voting record seems to be just toe the party line.
Could be worse, we are very close to having John Redwood who seems to have done the square root of fek all for his constituency, yet keeps getting voted in.
