My daily intake of 8 cans of Thatchers Gold at home has little effect anymore drunk

No intention of going for a pint (everyday pre Covid) until indoors open fully.

I wonder whether Mark Drayford now regrets his ill thought out restrictions on. The population. How many Labseats will he lose?

I'm Welsh and generally vote Conservative. My opinion Drakeford (correct spelling wink ) apart from the "firebreak lockdown" ending too early has done a sterling job re Covid. I will vote Labour in the Senedd elections tomorrow.

He will stay as First Minister, wont be that much change from as it is now, so he probably won't be that arsed.

The restrictions that have generally been better thought out than England?

Agreed. The general impression I get is that Drakeford's handling of the situation has been generally widely supported, particularly when compared with Johnson's. I predict another Labour win, particularly with 16 and 17 year olds also voting this year.

I agree with you depsite me loathing the guy and the party there is enough well he's done good job and is not Boris types to keep them in power. Oh well another several years in the wilderness for Wales.

I think there will need to be more parties in the coalition than just those two. It may take a month for them all to negotiate a deal?

Unless your an independent shop owner or in hospitality in which case Drakeford has utterly screwed you over.

Covid performance will only account for a small proportion of the votes.

I don’t know where you live in Wales, but there is a strength of feeling in North Wales against Drakeford, primarily to do with being the ‘poor cousin’ to Cardiff and the South.

Particularly here in NE Wales where BCU was put into special measures under Drakeford’s watch as health minister and the chaos since.

My vote will reflect that, not his performance over the past year.... frown

Yes, the health board special measures scandal will be a big factor, I am sure.

Health and social care in North Wales just isn't working, no matter how much they tinker with the systems.

In this same thread people have said how Welsh businesses have had huge government grants for Covid Secure modifications and to keep them afloat, so which is it!? Screwed or flush with cash!?

Hasn't there always been a feeling in North Wales that they're low on the Cardiff-based political agenda?

Cam Taf maternity care also went into special measures in South Wales.

Quite right, the 3 north wales hospitals have been shambolic for years, always in apparent ‘special measures’, they can never cope at winter, due to the regular annual unforeseen winters pressures.....
