I bet the blue one looks better in the flesh than it does in the photos. That said, the jet fighter grey with the orange stripes and the appearance package wheels looks the cream of the crop to me.

So when you get your griff, it will have a variation of the Ford lump ?

Argh! Yes, the new Griffith.
Have pulled my deposit this year. After 5 years, with only one prototype car, and lots and lots of silence, and absolutely no signs of a factory being built/acquired, I decided that the silence was just too deafening, so with a heavy heart, decided to pull the deposit.
Now with the launch next year, and nearly half the price, it is, I have to say very tempting.biggrin

I notice all the Ford UK text and pictures miss out the nice alloys, the gt500 spoiler and the splitter. I wonder if that means the UK spec cars will be without the handling pack.

Not the end of the world i suppose, i’m sure the alloys can be imported separately but it’s an extra cost.

Very interesting!

Regarding the comment that I've highlighted in bold:

Are you making reference to the Griffith or to the Mach 1 ?

Dealers are being prepped with the options list:

Looks like the cool press shot wheels won't make it to this side of the pond, nor the GT500 wing or splitter. I'm not sure how to read the options list for availability of climate controlled seats.

Apparently the reason you can’t spec the handling package (nicer wheels, ps2 cups, gt500 spoiler and new splitter) is because it’s too cold in Michigan to get ps2 tyres on the dyno during production builds

I noticed a few listings popping up from one dealer, looks like £57k-ish. That’s about 4-5k more than i was hoping they’d pitch it.

In one of the listings it claims only 300 are coming to the UK.

Thanks for sharing. That’s more than I can justify for a new Mustang!

I spoke to a local dealer today and they confirmed £55,185 on the road for the manual.

Ok, scratch that last comment from me, Have decided to throw caution to the wind and order one smile

I rang our local ford dealer on Friday asking about them. They had two on order which no one had reserved yet, both in jet fighter grey with the appearance pack. I said I would think about over the weekend and get back to them on Monday.
Rang them this morning to order one and guess what? Both had been bought by the same bloke.

Obviously, someone thinks they can make money on them!

So, I rang another dealer, local to where we used to live and have ordered one and paid a deposit of £400. Build date in January with delivery expected around May smile

So, I have a 10 speed auto in jet fighter grey with appearance pack arriving next year.

There will be far less of these in the UK than the Bullitt. Cost wise it’s about £58,650.

Will keep you updated.

Congrats on the order! My dealer told me January before they could take an order. I’ll phone them in the morning.
