Douglas Ross interviewed by Ciaran Jenkins on Ch4 and as unconvincing as usual, took him ages to remember we've already had an indyref!

The SNP leader in Westminster has recently put up two buildings in his Croft. I wonder if these have been heavily subsidised by the crafters commission?

to be fair it feels like a lifetime these clowns have been in power. The problem in Scotland is Sturgeob has now got the 16 year old the vote. At 16 I didn't have a bloody clue nor did I care about politics. I had no understanding of political issues. Today's youth have a better understanding but knee they start getting proper jobs and houses etc they really start to learn...

16 parties for the orange slip...
I’ve never heard of half of them.

Rather amusingly, we only have 4 for the purple.
No greens to dilute the main vote.

Quite tempted by the "Abolish the scotosh parliment party" on their name alone.

Didn’t Boris do it first? Oh yes as you were.

Just coincedence all the restrictions ease 11 days before the election. When she has been so cautious with opening previously. I think not. scratchchin

Likewise. Is it a wasted vote though?

You need a Maths degree to understand how it all works rolleyes

There are variations depending on the particular constituency but isn't it basically, if you oppose independence, you vote for the unionist party most likely to win in your area then vote for a different unionist party on list. Obviously if you support independence, but cannot stomach the SNP, some soul searching and holding of the nose may be necessary before voting for the independence party of choice on the list.

Edited to add, there are further nuances and it might be best if you are anti independence to vote either Tory or Labour on the list if you didn't vote for them in the main ballot.

I've not personally heard anyone say 'Because Nicola has lifted the lockdown I'm now changing my vote to SNP', I have
however heard a lot of folk, including previous SNP voters, saying they are absolutely sick of the sight of her and hearing
her lies and will not be voting SNP.

The MSM are painting a very different picture obviously.

No, Boris set a time table and has stuck to it?

Nicola set a harsh timetable and is now releasing it to look the hero.

Allegedly.

Postal vote cast yesterday. Constituency vote for the candidate most likely to unseat the incumbent nodding donkey from the SNP (Jenny Gilruth, egregious other half of Kezia Dugdale). List vote for the other pro-Union party. I'm probably the most politically active amongst friends and family, so I've had quite a few requests asking 'who should we vote for?' Taken enormous pleasure to advise all interested persons in how to cast their ballot to unseat the SNP.

Ms Gilruth, as local MSP, should really be renamed "Jenny who?" as she is never much in evidence in the constituency - only turning up in preparation for an election. The Labour candidate has long been an active councillor and is prominent in his ward. I don't support the Labour party by any stretch of the imagination, but I would be delighted to see him win the seat.

I posted my vote yesterday and followed the same thought process as Roderick. Hopefully my list vote will help a unionist party gain a seat. Unfortunately the constituency is an SNP stronghold so very little chance of ousting the incumbent SNP MSP (Shirley Anne Summerville).
