Is it worth pointing out that billionaires don't need to be worried about tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars? Arguably millions either?

All this grubby money grifting really does give the impression the Trump family are paper billionaires only. I'd take a guess that their outgoings exceed their income by some margin so in effect they're broke.
Trump does appear to be more of a paper billionaire; he leverages his assets to obtain cash but that’s getting harder and harder. A convenient bucket of dosh must be really useful given his situation.
I'd really love to know what Trump's life motivation is. I suspect, as Byker alluded to earlier, that it is nothing more complicated than a basic need to 'beat' everyone else by cash numbers. He clearly has zero knowledge of, or interest in, the value of things that don't have a price on them and that therefore cannot be converted into cash, ie integrity, honesty, empathy etc.

It’s not only cash.

Who could forget him moving his building up the the list of New York’s tallest buildings after 9/11?

The guy is an aberration.

GQP are determined to make Biden's administration a failure, regardless of the cost to the US.

I wonder when that will become obvious to their voters, and whether their voters care.
And republican areas are much more vaccine hesitant.

And also in areas that are chronically underserved as far as health resources are concerned (looking at you, rural West Virginia)

The GOP will be popular with whatever republicans remain, I suppose.

One suspects a psychiatrist would have a field day. Mary Trump says he has mummy issues, he was scared of her, there was no love given, which is why he demeans women (his sexual assaults etc) and why he fears strong women that oppose him.

Remember his Father thought him a failure, didn't like him, yet still gave him at least $413m, starting at $200k a year at age 3 - despite trumps claims he started with a small loan...
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/trumps-father-ga...

Remember his upbringing, shaped by his parents and being the young sibling. His dad was linked to the KKK and was accused of being racist over housing - sound familiar?
When brother Freddy didn't want to work the family business, Fred turn trump against his brother, which is where trump learned at an early age to demean, devalue, try to destroy people.

Another Capitol death - A D.C. police officer who responded to the Capitol insurrection has died by suicide, according to the Metropolitan Police Department, named as Officer Gunther Hashida who took his life in July.

edit: and another:
Four law enforcement officers from Jan 6 have now died by suicide. MPD confirmed Officer Kyle DeFreytag took his own life, only hours after the department confirmed Officer Gunther Hashida died by suicide. Both defended the Capitol on 6 Jan.

Arizona Fraudit news

The only audit leader with election experience was locked out of building
The Conservative Republican senator withdrew her support, calling process "botched"
The lead auditor confirmed work almost entirely paid for by Trump supporters who were previously involved in trumps efforts to promote the Big Lie. $5.7 million paid by prominent Trump supporters including Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell, Patrick Byrne and correspondents from One America News Network, with $150K to be paid by the Senate of which I think $50k has been paid so far

Tucker Carlson is doing his show from Budapest this week where he met Viktor Orban, PM of Hungary who trump met in his round of meeting foreign oppressive leaders.
Orban has been accused of cosying up to Putin and russia, removing democratic rights, antisemitism, taking over the courts and using them as a weapon against his opponents and to enrich his family and friends by giving them State contracts, removing independent media etc.
No wonder trump wanted to visit...

The Fox News host and conspiracy theorist will also speak this Saturday at a far-right event in the Central European country. His segment on the main stage is titled "The world according to Tucker Carlson."

And Carlson wonders why he pops up in FBI intercepts on foreign agents...

trumps found somewhere to hold his next rally - a family farm on a cow manure pasture, the perfect location one might say. Somewhere for his next moan about losing and another ramble off script.

Cohen is twisting the knife on Giuliani

trump instructs his lawyer to commit various crimes, and when the lawyer gets caught, trump releases an initial statement of support before saying it was all the lawyers fault, he knew nothing. Happen to Cohen now it's happening again to Giuliani, only he wasn't as clever.

he says StupidRudy will only realise when he's in prison

Stuff is starting to slip out now that the 6 Jan investigation has started into trumps insurrection attempt. People associated with trump organising the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Boys, the Oath Keepers, the GOP members bussing people to the Capitol.

People are starting to panic and reveal things. Mo Brooks has dropped a huge clue by referring to the planning meetings in the Oval Office prior to the insurrection. Gym Jordan admitted he had had a phone conversation with trump on 6 Jan and probably even more on days leading upto it, but then realising what he said claimed he couldn't remember details.
Ex-RNC Chair Michael Steele was having none of it
https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/jim-jordan-...

trump thought he could get away with it, thought he could retain power through any means possible, after all he'd met with a number of dictators that had done just that.
Three of his judges appointed to the supreme court, which is why he attacked them - especially Kavanaugh when they didn't support his claims. Remember the "he would be nothing now without me".
He thought Pence would be compliant, and when he wasn't sent his supporters after him, hence the "Hang Pence" chants.

It's time for the Select Committee to subpoena all the phone calls between the White House and Congressional members and their staff, openly not hidden like trump did to anyone he thought was against him. Also with Stone, Flynn and others that were involved in organising the insurrection attempt.

And it needs to be done soon. 10 Days until trumps alleged ressurection as Potus, and there's rumours already of violent protests planned. One wonders if thats why GOP stopped/delayed funding to additional Capitol security measures.
