Cuomo sexual harrassment report is here:
https://ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/2021.08.03_n...

Interesting to see his brother, one of CNN’s primetime anchors, was advising him on how to manage a sexual harassment scandal, and that he got confidential and privileged information in return, whilst also being part of a loyal inner circle that shut down complaint against Cuomo and harrassed state employees.

Given the lengths these people are prepared to go to, not just up to and including the risk of imprisonment but way beyond that thanks to the obfuscation techniques so successfully employed by their legal snakes, the financial rewards for corruption in the US must be mind-bogglingly immense. The country really needs to drastically restrict the ability of its lawyers to drag cases out indefinitely. It'll never happen of course because turkeys don't vote for Christmas.

Quite interesting to see the difference between the Dems response to sexual assault compared to the republicans, especially regarding trump.

Cuomo's response has basically been to deny everything with a trump like 'who are you going to believe, me or a 168-page report by multiple highly experienced investigators who interviewed 179 people'...

or as George Conway put it...

https://twitter.com/gtconway3d/status/142260368276...

New York Assembly Democrats have met privately on a 3 hour video conference call and were largely in agreement to move forward with articles of impeachment if Gov. Andrew Cuomo doesn't resign.

Congressman Devin Nunes is suing NBC, claiming Rachel Maddow defamed him on her show, because thats not worked too well for him lately...

He's claiming Rachel Maddow defamed him with on-air suggestions he’d conspired with a Russian agent to rig the 2016 presidential election for Donald Trump, but weirdly is now claiming as part of it that he did receive a package from a suspected Russian agent, something he'd previously denied.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-08-03...

We know that Nunes recieved a package from Derkach, a Kremlin-linked Ukrainian lawmaker who has worked with Giuliani to manufacture dirt on Biden and his son Hunter, who the US treasury sanctioned last year because of it.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/07/30/devin-nun...

Quite rightly Maddow questioned why Nunes was kept by the GOP on the Intelligence committee when he was working with know russian agents against Biden.
The program by Maddow is here

Remember Boebert denying she'd led a tour around the capitol. Turns out she did, on the night of 12 December, a saturday night when the capitol complex was closed, for her mother and teenage son.

Questions are being asked who authorised it, since Boebert was not a member of Congress at the time, nor had any official standing in D.C, she was a member elect.

Remember Boebert was seen giving tours before the 6th. Cohen named her and John Yarmuth hinted...
https://www.mercurynews.com/2021/01/19/lauren-boeb...

Some of those that stormed the Capitol knew where Pelosi's office was, where others would be...

Remember they'd had a practice in Oregon, on 21 Dec where a republican opened the door to let in protestors

In the latest Axios-Ipsos poll, 78.6% of the vaccinated point to the unvaccinated as who they blame for rising COVID cases

Beyond the unvaccinated, over a third blame trump as the second cause. Perhaps they should also blame him for the unvaccinated...

How anyone could confuse the US with a healthy democracy is beyond me.

See Greg Abbot getting power company money.
Official estimate was 151 killed yet others claimed almost 1000, with a best estimate of over 700 as the state power was cut in Feb, and again in June

The State Department is investigating the whereabouts of a $5,800 bottle of whiskey the Japanese government gave to then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in 2019, according to two people briefed on the inquiry.

Wisconsin elections officials have removed more than 205,000 voters from the rolls.
174,307 voter registrations were deactivated simply because the voters hadn't cast a ballot in four years and didn't respond to a mailing.

Good old reliable Fox News. Cori Bush campaigned and got the eviction moritorium extended by Biden after it expired, now Fox News attack her because she got sued for not paying rent in 2015

The thing that Fox news didn't say, was that this was one of the issues that she campaigned on when she won her seat. It's no secret

As Giuliani moans again about trump not paying his legal fees, I seem to remember at the first impeachment that Giuliani said that he had insurance,

Remember trump never paid him the $20k a day rate he wanted for promoting trumps Big Lie in court cases, in which he lost them all...

Cohens told him trump will ditch him rapidly. Time for that insurance Rudy...

A married couple who entered the Capitol on 6 Jan have been sentenced to 2 years on 40 hours community service, $500 restitution and 2 years on probation. Joshua Bustle was also sentenced to 30 days home confinement with Jessica Bustle receiving 60 days home confinement

Some tourists...

Edit: Another insurrectionist, Karl Dresch, of Calumet, Michigan pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge as a plea deal, received 6 months in jail, already served as he waited sentencing, plus $500 restitution for the damage.

Judge Amy Berman Jackson ripped into him though...
https://www.rawstory.com/karl-dresch/

Wonder how all these sentences will affect their employment in the future...
