trumps handpicked opponent to take down Liz Cheney was a vocal opponent of Trump in 2016.

Harriet Hageman was involved in trying to prevent Trump from becoming the nominee at the convention and decried him as racist and xenophobic.

trumps legacy of anti vaccination is starting to directly affect people, not just through catching the virus as companies start to sack people.

United Airlines says it will begin terminating the 593 employees out of its workforce of approx 67,000 who refused to get vaccinated by the 27 Sept date the company set for compliance .

We knows the Feds seized multiple phones and electronic devices when they raided Giuliani, buit it turnes out they have 26 years worth of data for the Special Master to wade through, which Giuliani's lawyers are trying to restrict. Giuliani ios also trying to claim special privileges as the personal lawyer for trump as potus.

https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscour...

This claims SDNY got a warrant to search Giuliani’s devices for evidence focused on the ouster of US Ambassador. Marie Yovanovitch only, which includes the events around trump impeachment #1 and Giuliani's role in these.

Interesting that Franklin Templeton is mentioned as this is one of the lies pushed by Lutsenko to Giuliani, which Giuliani, trump and others in team trump used to try to smear the reputations of the Bidens and of Ambassador Yovanovitch. The claims that Franklin Templeton was money laundering Ukrainian money is funny considering we're talking about trump, claims that were debunked as fabricated as they were investment bonds bought
https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/12/23/the-...

Also interesting is that SDNY warrant includes deleted emails and Giuliani objects to records deleted in 2021 relating to 2019... guess where to look then... biggrin

SDNY respond that letters were only sealed because it's a Grand Jury restriction...oh dear, not looking good for Rudy...

Grandy jury.. biggrin

Edit: So the self professed security expert had devices with 26 years of incriminating evidence. The prosecutors have said they won't for this case look before 2018, but they still have all that evidence stored...
Not good for Giuliani and his roll in the FBIO leaks in 2016 leading to Comeys action against Hillary that lost her the election

This is the stupid level we have got too:

“ Now, like everyone else, she gets paid by a radical left-leaning publisher to say bad and untrue things.”

That radical left publisher… Harper Collins. The 9th largest publishing house. Yes… I’m getting utterly fed up with how some groups just label everything they don’t like as “radical left”. The same people who get upset by racist politicians being called far right.

The only real problem here is the terrible framing the media is using when they write the headlines.

I guess "Less than 1% of employees decline the vaccine and face the inevitable consequences of their actions" is much less exciting than "175 PEOPLE FIRED FROM THEIR JOBS!!!11!!1!1!1 OMG!!"

You're missing that they are of course entirely free to choose not to have the vaccine, which is the reason the headline says they have lost their jobs.

If they weren't free, they'd have been forced to have the vaccine and they would still have jobs.

In any case, your comment is super insightful because Americans are in every other respect completely free to do anything they want whenever they want, and this vaccination mandate really is the first infringement on that freedom.

I was living in Houston when the city decided to put up cameras to catch people who jumped red lights. The backlash literally led to gun totting locals marching around demanding they be taken down as it was 'against their constitutional rights'.

A large proportion of the US population don't seem to be able to determine what is freedom and what is anarchy.

Mmm, it's not like they ever drafted anyone to go to war on a dubious pretence before. Getting vaccinated for the benefit of your society is a somewhat less of a lifestyle change.

Disgusting, but not surprising. The behaviour of the US state for many years has been one of the drivers for what Trump did.
