Because you can still become infected and pass it on to others, who then end up dead. I'm surprised that after a year to learn about Covid-19, you are still asking a question which most other people figured out around April or May last year. I’m willing to concede it’s a net good to society, but it’s entirely rational to think of yourself and take a pass. It certainly doesn’t make you a moron.
