I agree with Cummings on at least one thing- there isn't left or right in current politics. Boris certainly isn't attached to one side or the other. He's a populist on a grift, much like Farage was with UKIP. It's Boris' chance to do favours now to the people who will give him earning opportunities later.

Tuna c'mon...

If you're sufficiently Left, anything outside of that position is regarded as 'Far Right'

Bonkers.

If anything, the Johnson govt has moved left on many issues.

The traditional far left are the new far right, they appear to be more border-obsessed than UKIP and BNP put together.

Restricting protests is very much up there when it comes to being far right! And didn't Bozza and chums declare they would protect the statues, especially those that were targeted because the individual profited from slavery?

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/01/16/will-s...

Offering financial incentives to leave the UK is straight out of the BNP manifesto.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jan/26/e...

And let's not forget Bozza's reluctance to ensure our most vulnerable small children received the food they most needed in the middle of a pandemic, hardly the actions of a social justice warrior. Bozza and his populist dogma mean that he can swing from far left, then to far right in the blink of an eye.

Well direct policies that led to deaths in care homes, 60k can be attributed to Boris. I don't think even the incompetence of Tony Blair killed so many.
You sure? Iraq war and others must have surpassed that.

Nor can 60k be attributed to Boris with any form of proof using credible objective evidence, they can be of course be attributed as pure assertion, but that's another matter.

Wherever it came from originally it's mere opinion being presented as fact to fit a narrative - yet again.

No time machine is available to allow us to go back in time and do things differently for some sort of timewarp comparison..

There were many outbreaks in care homes, as you would expect, but the claim was made recently that few of them were linked to patients returned from NHS hospitals in the "bed clearing" operation. That claim could be wrong of course and I am sure the inevitable inquiry will look into it among other things.

Just find it a little mystifying really. Did people look at the weekly death tolls before this started and say "another 1,500 dead this week, damn you Boris" while shaking their fists at the sky. There are plenty of things to blame old Bojo the clown for that are within his control. Trashing public finances as part of needless lockdowns would be top of my list .

Quite right. China and Russia are post modern, Byzantine dictatorships.

Whereas the cabal of Boris is, er ...

You don't need a time machine, it is funny as this argument seems to always used by the hardcore Tory supporters. The Gov admitted even after they knew the risks, infected patients were discharged from hospitals, remember protect the NHS at all costs, back to carehomes, even after being fully informed it was a massive risk, in public.

So yes the Gov policies directly led to at least 60k unnecessary deaths that could have clearly have been avoided if it wasn't for the incompetence of Boris Johnsons government.,

The vaccine rollout has changed the subject but the Gov policies with the information led to deaths, for reasons only time will tell.

Seriously?

Who cares?

He was basically a Labour supporter throughout most of his tenure as speaker.

He is just bitter about not being lorded.

Let’s not forget he had vote Labour stickers on his car.

And so forth…
