Bercow joining the Labour party is hardly a surprise, pretty much been that way for years without being formalised.

No one cares about him or his bile, poisonous little st that he is. Boris might deserve all sorts of abuse but anything from Bercow is irrelevant.

I would wonder if a certain midget cuckold is extra angry because he thinks a certain notorious philanderer may have been one of many who had a ride on his missus.

Mr Bercow suggested today’s Conservative party as “reactionary, populist, nationalistic and sometimes even xenophobic”.

Well, well, well, who’d a thunk it….

Loser joins loser party.
Poor Keith its just what he needs right now, another reason for people not to vote Labour.

Well given Bercow's history in the Monday Club I bow to his expertise in those areas.

You don't need a time machine, it is funny as this argument seems to always used by the hardcore Tory supporters. The Gov admitted even after they knew the risks, infected patients were discharged from hospitals, remember protect the NHS at all costs, back to carehomes, even after being fully informed it was a massive risk, in public.

So yes the Gov policies directly led to at least 60k unnecessary deaths that could have clearly have been avoided if it wasn't for the incompetence of Boris Johnsons government.,

The vaccine rollout has changed the subject but the Gov policies with the information led to deaths, for reasons only time will tell.
60K deaths in care homes WITH Covid sounds like total deaths from when the pandemic began to now. You can only really blame them for the element that related to the "bed clearing" operation and even that is a decision only made wrong in hindsight.

Blaming the government in charge for deaths arising from a naturally occurring virus is no doubt part of the whole sorry affair of endless lockdowns and you don't have to be a "hard core Tory" to oppose endless lockdowns.

This

Quite a bizarre character and we are well rid of him as speaker. Thus far Hoyle seems to be a man of integrity and he gave the government a kicking the other week as well.

Bercow must have one of the strangest political histories of anyone at the moment. Road to Damascus or self serving?

But there’s no one more vociferous than an ex smoker smile.

Bercow was an awful speaker and bully hell bent on perverting the will of the people over Brexit.

I don't really understand how a politician could, with a straight face, spend many years in one political party, then swap to one, in theory at least, diametrically opposed?

If you want to see Bercow at his mealy mouthed best, watch him denying he's joining the Labour party as it's his best chance of getting a Lordship. hehe

No peerage, mustang sally, turncoat, loathed as much as loved, it's not as if he's making nasty comments while twitter and bisted.

With that nasty style he's well-suited to his new political home. Boris's detractors and supporters of the student politics protest movement he's joined will lap it up.
