I think he looks a fair bit perkier than he once did actually. Presidents must get the special infusions.

Our Donald called him 'that fking corpse' which is possibly the only accurate thing he's ever uttered.

This is what I find annoying about the 'elite' group and the world they are making everyone live in.

It's been the same forever really. The elites arrive, do what they want and everyone else has to stay away or be disrupted. Places get locked down, normal people can't do normal things anymore. All because a group of pompous, self serving idiots show up in town with their armed muscle.

It's different now though because not only do the peasants have to bow and make way, they are doing things that the peasants are banned from doing.

Want to go on holiday abroad? No way fella. Covid. Innit.

Want to meet up with a group of people? No way fella. Covid. Innit.

Want to live a life that wouldn't be considered eco friendly? No way fella. Global warming. Innit.

Yet the elites and their chums carry on regardless doing all of the above.

These absolute c u next Tuesday's turn up from en mass all over the world, mingle with each other, disrupt everyone else's lives and decide how everyone else is going to live. Even if the elite get notification of potential covid infection, they will make up some rule or scheme that means they can carry on with their lives.

One other thing is the cost. It must cost a hell of a lot to move the elite and their staff around. Yet it doesn't matter because they aren't paying for it. The peasants pay for it and they pretty much decide how they will spend the money taken from the peasants.

Classic do as I say. There is even a picture of our useless prime minister emerging from a plane in Cornwall. A plane? Could you get anything more obnoxious? How dare he lecture us about being green and then fly there. Same to all of them. Pompous, self serving, out of touch with reality tossers who shouldn't be in a place of power.

Really, really annoys me. I do hope that one day, the human race will advance enough to understand that we don't need a bunch of overpriveliged a-holes preaching to us about how to live our lives and controlling us.

Build back better. Go away you slimy, overweight, under the thumb moron.

Absolute hypocrites. The lot of them.

So you disagree that people who are clearly targets for stupidity/explosions/assassinations should ensure their safety, when acting as the head of state for a nation?

Normal peole can't do normal things... for a few days. Oh the humanity

Holiday abroad & meeting ups? Are you saying covid doesn't exist?

Global warming? Guessing you're also in the "climate change doesn't exist" camp.

I'd wager more locals are pissed off every year with drunk British tourists than large G7 summits. Chil out, enjoy life, and stop stressing so much. If you do, you might live longer - longer to witness another G7 event if you're lucky biggrin

Everyone else has to stay at home and travel abroad etc is banned. These muppets roll up from all over the world and this happens.

Do as I say .........

Maybe we will get the shiny new G7 variant.
Travel abroad has not been banned.

It might as well be.

Compared to 2019, how easy is it for the average Joe to pop on a plane and go on holiday somewhere sunny?

They need security obviously, but you have to admit the US cavalcade is a bit willy wavey OTT, no?
Normal people are banned from such large gatherings...so that's a bit hypocritical of them.
Just look at all the co2 this massive undertaking will produce for a 4 day meeting, and they will lecture us on reducing co2...so that's a bit hypocritical of them.
It does put the UK and beautiful Cornwall on the map though, and no doubt will bring in lots of money...so, meh. Carry on.

Oh yes, the US thing is totally OTT. Agreed there. Was hilarious when it got grounded in London a few years back.

I'm fairly confident I did - I've even got a GCSE in English to my name - but you've not given enough info to enlighten me as to why I didn't!

If you can't read my original post and understand it, what good does posting more do to help?

The questions you have asked are completely unrelated to the point raised in my post.

You have quite clearly missed it - hypocrisy, on a grand scale. Nothing to do with denying Covid exists and nothing to do with climate change.

I even mentioned the word in the original post.

Ok - so it's anger at the "one rule for them, one for the rest". Unfortunately, without communism, there will always be some form of difference in treatment.

I'm 100% with you on the idiocy and hypocracy of telling us not to travel, then getting caught on a UK based jolly themselves. But really can't get with you on the anger about a group of world leaders travelling & being treated differently than Joe down the road who works at B&Q.

And to bring the money in all the carbon has to be used to get it there by the plane and carload. Excellent

Allegedly, the Yanks wanted the motorcade to be 30 cars long but the request was denied, there is also a submarine stationed just off the cost.

I'm based in Devon & a lot of all of the officers are down in St Ives at the moment.

A lot of our Cornish customers aren't happy with basically another lock down again whilst the G7 is on, as this is their busiest time of the year, especially when the weathers nice.

Apparently Carbis Bay hotel didn’t apply for planning permission for the additional chalets, locals are not happy!

The G7 itself is only on for 3 days, but obviously there will be disruption before and after, at worst they loose a week of punters.
Is early June really their busiest time? I'd have thought that would have been July/August when the kids are off.

I’ve had some contact with colleagues deployed to G7. I think it’d be fair to say the catering isn’t haute cuisine…

The last one doesn’t look so bad. Apparently it’d would’ve been good, had it even been just warm…
