Forgive my cynicism, but this won't make the slightest difference. It would require the media to be onside and willing to undertake a genuine investigation into all that has gone on, to hold the party of government to account, and to publicise the inconvenient truths that would no doubt be revealed.
There has to be a tipping-point for this. It is now in the public domain that the Scottish Government redacted evidence that they were acting unlawfully in this instance. This calls into question all other redactions. How long before full disclosure on the Salmond case....?
""The impact of a successful legal challenge could be high – in the worst case the contract could be declared ineffective – and a challenge could be brought at any time as the contract terms are not being made public," says the redacted text. "

There won't be. Nobody in the SNP resigns or is dismissed. They are simply allowed to fade away into the background.

It's a massive scandal for sure, and if the same thing happened in Westminster it would be the top story on every 24 hour rolling news channel for weeks to come. However, as it has happened in the Shortbread Senate under the watchful eye of the Porridgeburo, nothing whatsoever of any consequence will happen. The opposition parties will attempt to make some hay from it, Sturgeon will huff and puff a bit, there will be some social media outrage from the Yestapo that their Dear Leader was challenged by the Toooaareees, then everyone will move on to the next crisis on the agenda. Meanwhile, the Scottish Media will continue to provide frankly laughable levels of scrutiny.
Anyone thinking that this will change the square root of f

Nothing will happen, the media will whitewash it, the media are bought. Scotland may as well be North Korea at this point

Speaking to STV News, Freeman said: “We respect the decision of that jury and of the court. I still maintain very strongly that we were right to hand this matter over to the police when we were in a situation where a significant sum of money was unaccounted for.
“And that was money given to us by ordinary men and women, the length and breadth of Scotland, actually in some instances beyond, given to us in trust. We couldn’t account for it. No explanation given to us about what happened.
“We had to at that point do the right thing, which was let the police, the Crown Office and now the court themselves decide what was the facts of the matter and what needed to be done.”
And that's over £24,000. can we apply the same to £600,000?“And that was money given to us by ordinary men and women, the length and breadth of Scotland, actually in some instances beyond, given to us in trust. We couldn’t account for it. No explanation given to us about what happened.
