There doesn’t have to be. There is several separate women and if they have consistent stories it could easily create a strong case. However it goes it won’t look good. Maybe it's obvious to you. Maybe it's obvious to them, now. Maybe they even thought it was a bit of fun, back then, powerful men buying you nice things in return for sex. But that doesn't make it any less of an abuse of vulnerable young girls.

I suspect there was lots of promises of education, jobs, careers by working for Epstein and Maxwell. These are rich and powerful people and some parents think they are giving their kids great opportunities by letting them go. If there really was a black book, boxes of cctv tapes etc….

In hindsight everyone is thinking WTF, but at the time it could seem very innocent. Plus no doubt the women are telling families its all ok, life is great, got to go on this private jet, jobs amazing extra.

Complaining of the frequent checks on her, after Epstein was found dead, in lets say in less than perfect circumstances? Perhaps the authorities aren't taking any chances?
