Makes a release date of 2037.

She will get 2 years time served and 3 years 'good time' discount if she doesn't break the rules.

Doesn’t the USA like the UK permit 50% terms ?

I really thought they were manufacturing a get out and a short sentence. Amazed. Need more sentences like that over here.

Hope she is not allowed to serve her sentence in the uk. If they (states) did want to, can we refuse?

Nope, they pretty much do the full term I think.

Some states do but Maxwell was a federal case and the maximum discount is 54 days/year.

With a 20 stretch I am sure she will horse trade now, if she has any to trade, on appeal.

I doubt there are any horses to trade, they all seemed like sad, lonely people that wanted the world to think otherwise.

Well, people with dirt on the Clintons do seem to commit suicide quite reliably.
Are you honestly so easily led as to genuinely believe that?
Covid/conspiracy loons will believe most they’re fed…..

Can they reduce her term if she does offer up info or is it too late and if she gives up info that’s merely good for the process to lockup others but hers is what it is

If she offers up info she'll get done for treason or be offed by her old mans firm.

Anyway, great that that's all concluded satisfactorily, all lose ends tied up, nothing to see here, no sireeeee.

When the feds raided Epsteins place, they noted all the video's. dvd's and documents of his blackmail evidence but didn't seize them because they said they weren't on the warrant...
When they returned 4 days later (how convenient) they were all missing.

I've no doubt Maxwell has all that as an insurance policy, which is probably why she's still alive. Now with 20 years in jail it could be time to start dropping stuff, like starting with Dershowitz, just to show she has some power over them...get people worried...

I think it’s what’s referred to these days as victim blaming (assuming I read that right).

I'm glad she's been convicted but 20yrs with little in the way of remission is a long sentence for this offence compared to Britain.

By comparison, Max Clifford, an equally dislikeable specimen convicted of multiple similar offences got 8yrs inside, of which he would have been expected to serve 4yrs, had he not pegged it whilst inside.

Fellow Yewtree-er Stuart Hall got 5yrs, served 2.5yrs.

(I'm not in any way trying to minimise her actions, just highlighting the differences for similar offences in different jurisdictions)

Hopefully it will serve as a deterrent to anyone in future in a position of power seeking to abuse minors.
