Andrea Jenkyns too. She was asked about her hashtag "Bring back Boris Johnson" then immediately said she's not sure he actually wants to come back. The stupid disparity of an allegedly invented narrative is lost on her apparently. How on earth do these people end up in power...

She is particularly dense that one. Used to actually have MAGA on her Twitter profile.

For info...The Commons Privileges Committee decision on whether Boris Johnson misled parliament over Partygate is due soon, expectation is by the end of this month. The fallout could lead to a recall motion and a by-election in his constituency, which many observers think he would lose.

The decision emerging from the CPC may well be pivotal, according to a recent survey of the Uxbridge & South Ruislip constituents from Lord Ashcroft Polls, which suggests he would win a by-election right now with 50% of the vote. Labour’s Danny Beales (33%) would lose by some margin, with the Liberal Democrats way off on 6%, a single point ahead of the Greens. Polls schmolls etc.

That's "now" but if the CPC outcome is bad for Johnson then the situation could change overnight.
Details of the current survey are at the link.

What happened to the report on Russia's influence on Brexit and Johnson?

Buried to be released in 30 years?

Much like the government attempting to legally block the sharing of Johnson's old WhatsApp messages it's deemed far less important by the media (who are likely to be implicated by the messages) than important matters like Phillip Schofield.

I know it can't all be headlines, all of the time, but it would be nice to have people reminded of this stuff now and again to prevent the "so what if he had a piece of cake, he shouldn't be sacked for that" mentality.

Is that one of those photos they show on HIGNFY where they put a funny haircut on someone on the panel?

All the stuff was out there long before he was in number 10, that he continued in the same way shouldn't have come as a shock to anyone but here we are.

I get that.

Things like bypassing the cabinet on major decisions.

When Cummings wanted to align the treasury with no10 he wanted to sack savids special advisors.

Savid was furious

Boris said whats tbe problem? They are just people....

Savid said they were good peole and should not be sacked due to cummings

Boris was scared to tell cummings to fk off...

Savid resigned...

Johnson seemed strangely enamoured with Cummings.
It was noticeable that when the latter was caught red-handed at Barnard Castle he did not make a full act of contrition.
Instead he tried to fly a BS story about testing his eyesight. hehe

Johnson clearly hadn’t demanded a proper apology and let him get away with it.

Thanks for sharing. Brilliant and terrifying. There are still loads of people who totally seriously believe he was a good prime minister.

Not that after dinner speaking automatically translates into being a lousy PM, but as there's other far more compelling evidence around, we know the score anyway.

There's some evidence that the loads of people you mention don't actually think how you thought on their behalf. The opinion mix is curious - according to an Ipsos survey, which looked at public opinion of PMs since WW2, Johnson ranks 4th on doing a good job but top on doing a bad job.

The bad job was noticed. Brits are more likely to say he has done a bad job as Prime Minister than any other person to hold the position since the Second World War. Let's call that 'loads of people'.
