Trying to remember how long ago it was when we were saying it couldn't get any more ludicrous.

Trump has five million followers on his own social media platform. That’s all.
I reckon that half of those are only there for the popcorn and wouldn’t vote for him ever.

His base is waning, he’s struggling to keep his head above the parapet.

I reckon he’s a busted flush, and I’m always wary of going early.

I've been saying this for a long time. He barely scraped in by a tiny number of votes in 2016. All down to floating voters.

Since then he and the GOP have lost every national election bar the very slim House midterm in 2022, when they promised to deal with inflation and other issues they have not mentioned once since November.

January 6 turned off far more middle class undecided voters than it gained him "patriots".

The more Republicans talk crazy st the more they lose.

There is a reason he doesn't do cult rallies now, let's see how many people they can pay to turn up in WACO of all places...

I hope he does win the GOP primary though as everything he touches turns to st and he can destroy the GOP once and for all

If trump is arrested, will he have a DNA sample taken like they do in the UK?

Because E Jean Carroll have been after that for some time...

In that case, the Judge has allowed the Access Hollywood 'I'm a serial sexual assaulter grab them by the...' tape. Two other women's testimony who state that Trump sexually assaulted them will be allowed. The Judge has stated he believes the Jury should be anonymous - in the same manner as a RICO case against a gangster. And in his deposition, despite trump's claim 'she's not my tape' he mistook a picture of Carroll during the time frame of the alleged assault for a picture of his wife at the time.
Can one set of plaintiffs rely on Police DNA for an unconnected case? I was under the impression (and wouldn't it make sense) that DNA matching was for POLICE and PROSECUTORS rather than for sharing with folk who are 'trying to extort' someone? wink

Swabbed for the state DNA database apparently.

The only ones who worry about this are the ones who know they could be in trouble themselves.

I wonder how many dents he has put in the walls of MAGALago by bouncing of them so much. It really does sound like he is pretty scared.

What stage are we at now?

1. Denial - Yup seen that.
2. Anger - Sounds about right.
3. Bargaining - Maybe we'll see that at the arraignment.
4. Depression - Maybe he'll stay in his room whimpering like a baby.
5. Acceptance - Not sure that'll ever happen.

I must admit I shed a tear for America now.

I lived in California when I was young - left when I was 23.
The majority of my family still live there - west coast, mid west and east coast.

It’s a sad sad situation there. Politics is finished, stupidity reigns supreme in the Republican Party.

Same here, spent every summer there in my teens and lived there in my 20's.

It's a shame the place I have such great memories of as a youngster is unrecognisable now. The random shootings and armed "patriots" everywhere actually make it feel as dangerous as visiting dodgy parts of the world where it can kick off suddenly.

NY Times has an explanation and analysis of specific criminal laws at issue in each of the four major, known, trump investigations. The criminal statutes, what would prosecutors need to prove to get convictions, and how does that map onto the known facts

He was really going for it yesterday
On Cohen

Against Biden - with the classic tell of accusing others of what he did

Then there's the claim that NY Police won't arrest him, because they "CORRECTLY REFERRED TO AS 'NEW YORK CITY’S FINEST,' WHO, FOR THE FIRST AND ONLY TIME IN HISTORY, ENDORSED A PRESIDENT, ME, & HONORED ME AS 'MAN OF THE YEAR,' "

Then there's the rant that D.A. Alvin Bragg was breaking the law because he interviewed Michael Cohen, and wanted Bragg held accountable for "interference in a presidential election,"
Hum - irony...

and Tiny? Stormy seems to be giving back to all the abuse she's getting
