Alina Habba went out to defend trump - but seems to know nothing. Tried bringing Hunter Biden of course into the conversation, claimed it was Bragg not trump inciting violence, claiming leaks from the DA when it was trump claiming he was being arrested

Alex Jones is continuing to move money so he can claim he hasn't any to pay his fines and money to the Sandy Hook families
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/18/us/politics/ale...

But then Jones is also claiming Putins war crimes charge and trumps arrest is part of a global conspiracy because globalists are trying to stop people who won’t go along with their plans.

team trump are apparently rolling out former trump lawyer Costello to try to thorw dirt at Cohen, but he was the one dangling pardons to Cohen when he was arrested to keep quiet about trump, that trump offered to pay his legal fees then didn't (same as he did to many other witnesses against him). Not sure having testimony about witness tampering will help trump.

He's also heavily mentioned in Hunter Bidens suit against computer repair man Mac Isaac
https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscour...

and he was a witness in the Bannon contempt case, trying to get the DOJ to drop charges

just another doing trumps dirty work...

Claims there's yet another trump investigation happening without much attention.

Not just trumps hush money payment to Stormy, the Georgia investigation into 2020 election tampering, the DOJ investigation into trump's attempted insurrection, the DOJ investigation into stolen classified documents, or his trump org tax fraud and loan fraud.

This is the one mentioned about his $8m loan from russians associated with Putin to keep trump social alive. There's a whistleblower complaint filed with the SEC alleging that the trump Media-Digital World merger was rife with 'fraudulent misrepresentations . . . in violation of federal securities laws.'

Another misrepresenting values to get loans - surely not biggrin

The most delicious thing is him obliterating DeSantis and leaving the GOP in shreds. Let them fight.

I must admit, seeing DeSantis struggle to put forward a coherant campaign put instead consistantly putting his foot in it is interesting and opens the field for other candidates.

If trump is arrested, and if he is charged, the would we expect to see others announce? The timing for his alleged arrest is terrible for him with E JEan Carroll trial starting in 3 weeks... just puts all his crimes in the news again

More trouble for Fox, one of their producers Abby Grosberg who has worked with Maria Bartiromo and Tucker Carlson has filed lawsuits against the company in New York and Delaware, accusing Fox lawyers of coercing her into giving misleading testimony in the Dominion legal battle.

She also claims that Justin Wells, Mr. Carlson’s top producer, called Ms. Grossberg into his office, she said, to ask whether Ms. Bartiromo was having an affair with Kevin McCarthy.

trump has filed seeking to quash the Fulton County special grand jury report and preclude prosecution in Georgia, he also wants AG Willis to recluse herself

There's a tiny bit on his claim of prejudice based on the comments by the grand jury foreperson, but its contains few citations to case law, because they can't find any to support their claim.
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23718113-e...

Another investigation thats getting to close for trumps comfort, but again it looks like he's trying for another frivilous lawsuit he can chase through appeals to delay action again.
He's also probably hoping thr Georgia GOP will come to his aid. They've introduced bills trying to get rid of AG Willis
https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/reidout-blog/fan...

Hum - did trump have word they were going to indict him first before NY?

EDIT:

Ah Really American are reporting that Fulton County DA Fani Willis is now considering charging trump with additional racketeering and conspiracy charges for his attempts in 2020 to illegally overturn the Georgia election results.

This is hugely significant because it indicates that investigators have acquired a vast amount of additional evidence pointing to conspiracy from within and outside of Georgia. This includes text messages, documents, emails, phone calls, and special grand jury testimony.

and Lawrence Tribe has pointed out it's another trump doc with padding ot make it look impressive, 485 pages of effectively trumps unubstantiative winges again

Jim Jordon is still running obstruction for trump, because he doesn't want his part coming out?

Jim Jordan and James Cromer have sent a letter to Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg asking him to testify on his probe into Trump and hush money payments. Jordan says he doesn’t know the full scope of the potential charges. He told reporters, we don't think trump broke the law at all.

So hasn't seen the evidence, hasn't seen the charges, plus as Jim Jordon refused to answer subpoenas, he set the precedent now that noone has to...

Braggs spokesperson has responded...

“We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process, nor will we let baseless accusations deter us from fairly applying the law. While this office follows the facts, not everyone does…”

Raskin has pointed out its “an astonishing and unprecedented abuse of power”

Interesting claims by Costello in his attempt to undermine Cohen in the hush money case against trump

This is a lawyer who worked to defend Bannon and Giuliani, who dangled pardons to Cohen, (although he's claiming Cohen was panicking and asking for one)

Others are saying he's just opened up trump for more charges of witness obstruction, as detailed in the Mueller report, how Costello and Giuliani tried to keep Cohen on side, the offers of a pardon, to pay his legal fees, Bragg has now had the chance to ask about this witness tampering

Edit: Cohens rebuttal was that Costello was making up stories - a typical trump play
