I remember that, disgraceful behaviour. trump's shamelessness is really in a league of its own. I can't think of anyone else in public life so shameless about claiming credit for anything that's going well, whether he was anything to do with it or not, and completely ignoring anything going badly. His tweets responding to stock market variations were a particularly obvious example, crowing repeatedly when there were any gains, and complete radio silence with every fall.
