It would seem there is pretty much zero stock of bikes in my price range. Any suggestions? For a 150mm-160mm trail/enduro bike. (Coming from a Specialized Enduro expert 2015).

Max budget 5k, must deal with halfords c2w.

I really liked the look of a stumpjumper evo (no stock in s3), tried out a bronson (no stock of the lower spec in M).

Any thoughts on the cube stereo 150 (carbon), looks really well specced for the money.

EVO cycles in Eastbourne seem to have a few Santa Cruz on sale, 3 Bronsons. Not affiliated with them in any way, just a customer who follows them on IG.

To add, I was in Balfes bikes in Gatwick yesterday dropping my bike off for suspension servicing and was chatting with the guy there, he was saying the standard sizes in most bikes except cheap ones were fairly available now.

Yeti SB140 2021 - £4.7k

Halfords are a retailer and sell cycles as part of the cycle to work scheme rather than allow you to buy from anyone else.

If you must use Halfords then you will be stuck with a Boardman, which to be honest are great bikes for the money.

If you are tied to the Halfords “cycle2work” scheme (they all have different names but essentially do the same thing) you can use Tredz too though they are notorious for having very low/zero at stock. The Lapierre Zesty looks nicely spec’d for the money

Also worth calling Sigma who I believe used to accept Halfords “cycle2work” vouchers albeit for a premium, ie they retained 10% of the voucher value

Ended up getting what I actually wanted (considering I usually ride what I have to death).

My localish bike shop can get a Bronson, could have got one online in 3 days, but it's only a 2 week wait from my LBS, so more than happy to support them. smile

Good choice!
My Bronson is old now being a V1 but it's still a cracking bike and I recently got 23rd of 170 in an enduro race on it so it's clearly still capable but my next bike is pretty much set to be a new Bronson!
