Camper van laid up insurance

I’m hopefully picking up (having delivered) a big camper van next weekend

I need to take further tests to be able to drive it, so the van is going to be parked up on my drive for a bit


What does one do, insure it as laid up? So fire and theft only? Do I need to worry about no claims for that


The plan is to get van, do all little jobs whilst getting licence required.

Value is 35k
