I know nothing about boats - but this looks like fun!

With marine diesel nudging £1.70 a litre and a doubtless prodigious appetite for the same he'll probably be trying for quite some while yet.As as aside it's wonderful to see the current cost of fuel seems to have resulted in a remarkable reduction in the amount of Bellends on jetskis and Romford Navy morons 'avvvin it 'faaakin large out on the water this season.

Funny you say that, our home port, Yarmouth busy as ever, certainly the white flybridges as much in evidence as they ever were.As as aside it's wonderful to see the current cost of fuel seems to have resulted in a remarkable reduction in the amount of Bellends on jetskis and Romford Navy morons 'avvvin it 'faaakin large out on the water this season.

Not quite. This one was only recently finished. The red one and white one were sold last year. I surveyed them for the buyers. They go pretty well and being diesel much cheaper to run than pretty much anything else that will do 70mph on water.
The ride isn’t too bad either sat in suspension seats.

These are vehicles which look really sharp onshore or in a marina.
The vast majority of people who actually experience something more than 60 knots on water rarely want to do it again. My father raced small powerboats, granted in the days before suspension seats. Spent his later years in serious backpain due to the damage.
As a leisure activity? Well the force of the slipstream is great for the first 60 seconds, then everyone seeks shelter. Hopefully it is flat clam - otherwise moving is pretty fraught.
Diesel so - somewhat more affordable, great for a quick blast, but then what?
Getting across the Channel is even somewhat problematic in terms of comfort. Great for posing but give me a large Nelson - so I can get there and back even when the weather starts to get awkward

You really have got a serious issue there! If you really dont like Essex that much why dont you live elsewhere? You sound like a very bitter little man, that has some sort of hang up’s with people that have worked hard and done well? I own a jetski and i agree that a lot that do are infact Bellends, but there are a LOT of people that sail that are Bellends and to be honest you come across as a huge one! Now have a sit down and have a think about what went wrong in your life and dont blame everyone else?????
Awful punctuation, rant that meets council Facebook standards, owns a jetski......If it looks like a duck. quacks like a duck,,,,,,,,,

History tells us there's been numerous succesfull prosecutions of jetski users for speeding and anti-social behaviour along the Essex coast but in decades of sailing I don't recall any sailors being taken to court over their conduct whilst at sea.
Stereotypes of any kind simply wouldn't exist unless there was sufficient evidence for them to do so.

Romford Navy is 100% a thing. Got to any beach north of Southend and you will see them. Mersea, Brightlingsea, even up as far as Clacton. You'll spot the Romford Navy a mile off - fat, pink, and they'll be the ones gunning their boats/jetskis up the gravel/beach like some sort of gurning Joey Deacon Miami Vice. Pickup/RRS parked nearby. The locals can spot them a mile off, and afford them the respect then deserve (or not, as the case may be)
An absolute menace to those of us who live nearby and sail/kayak/fish.
Back on-topic, I can't see where to fit rod holders or a berley bucket, and that foredeck looks a bit precarious for a casting platform.
I also doubt that I can launch it off a tidal sand ramp, or tow it with the mighty Subaru Outback.
I'll let someone else buy it.
You can probably guess what I use my boat for.
