I presume even an elderly tank can survive a grenade? Or are there effective AT grenades that a drone can lift?
From your contributions in this thread you seem to be a fairly well informed sort Bike3, so I am surprised you weren't aware that there are indeed effective AT grenades that a drone can lift. I believe the majority are Russian (soviet era) light anti tank grenades like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RKG-3_anti-tank_gren... , usually with a 3D printed fin attached to improve accuracy.
Being quite small they would not be a big threat to the front or side armour of a tank, but tanks are always more lightly armoured on top, and if dropped on the turret roof this also gives a pretty direct route down into the ammunition carousel.

Maybe the ICC should do a few more indictments to really focus their attention?
This. One or two people at each level of the hierarchy, so everyone can see that they're also in the frame. Give a few the hope of wriggling out and they, in turn, may help effect regime change.

Anyone else surprised at the Russian reactions to the ICC arrest warrant being issued?
Given their behaviour so far, I'd have expected them to just shrug and carry on, but it seems to have hit nerves in a way that few things have since the full invasion started last year.
I am, but then it is typical bully: Carry on regardless right up until someone bigger or nastier turns up and then piss your pants.Given their behaviour so far, I'd have expected them to just shrug and carry on, but it seems to have hit nerves in a way that few things have since the full invasion started last year.
More long range strikes killing civilians.

Russia just look desperate, they lost over 1000 troops in the last 24hrs it seems and similar numbers most days this week. Their answer is to target civilians.

I'm not sure that I really believe the numbers, or that they exist in isolation. It seems to be part of the current regular round of 'glorious victory due in upcoming planned offensive/we've killed loads of Orcs while no problems on our side/this all be over tomorrow if you gift us more stuff' that the politicians & military commanders like to pump out in lieu of actual progress.
It's the same propaganda lines both sides learnt in the Soviet days. Everyone knows it's bullst but it serves a purpose.

Mind boggling isnt it, 1000, a thousand men dead, in one day, plus the Ukrainians as well.https://speedup9ja.com/russian-strikes-in-ukraine-...

Are they being cleared away or just left to decompose ? Its going to be mountains of rotting bodies.
Its getting warmer by the day, that is a pretty grim situation.
Notice Medleyev is saying they will nuke Ukraine if they retake Crimea and also if anyone arrests Putin, they will get nuked as well.
The ICC warrant does seem to have shaken them, they have passed a lot of points of no return but that one does seem to have hit home.

The comments!!!
These are hardcore Z heads and a significant portion of the comments are showing total understanding of how counter productive this war is to Russians using arguments we'd use ourselves and spotting all the contradictions.
Use the auto-translate and see 'vistors' comments. He gets it and he's not the only one.
I must be being dense today due to too many beers last nightThe comments!!!

Who is actually saying this? All the commentators I've watched or listened to recently are admitting that Ukraine is losing large numbers of soldiers too. It's the same propaganda lines both sides learnt in the Soviet days. Everyone knows it's bullst but it serves a purpose.

I have seen European and US commentators saying they are probably on the light side. Interested if there are any reputable sites that either confirm or refute these numbers.

A farty little off the shelf drone dropping a small grenade, which from most angles wouldnt even really damage a tank, never mind destroy it, dropped in the right place causes a chain reaction that ends up causing the much bigger munitions to explode and cook off and sometimes and entry to low earth orbit for the turret. Its not just getting it through a hatch, some of the vents and stuff on top seem to be vulnerable as well.
If it weren't all so horrific, it would be quite beautiful. I am guessing for the occupants of said tank, they dont know much about it before being simultaneously cooked and eviscerated. Might have said before, but I remember my granddad telling me of his wartime experiences (North Africa I think it was) happening upon tanks that had been hit and looking inside, he said something along the lines of the shell had enough energy to pierce the armour and then some left over, but not enough to get out again so it tended to bounce around, and explained quite graphically what that looked (and smelt) like to a ten year old J4CKO
