Not sure I’m allowed to post this here, in any case this is no commercial offer and have no other interest other than to help out a friend getting rid of his summer tyres which he originally bought for his wife’s Lamborghini Urus but since he fitted them he has a gearbox fault light coming on which the Lambo dealers are putting down to the tyres which are for an Aston Martin DBX (marked A8A). I doubt the tyres are to blame for the gearbox fault but that’s another question.
Thing is he replaced his brand new tyres with Lambo marked ones and is offering his Aston ones for sale.
As an owner of a DBX707, I would have been interested but my friend lives in the UK and I’m in the South of France so not worth the hassle of getting them shipped and paying import duties.
Tyres are the 23 inch summer tyre that fits the optional wheels on DBX and DBX707.
If interested, just PM me and I’ll put you in touch with the private seller who lives in Weybridge.
Below are details of the tyres he bought:

Did the 'Lambo tyres' fix the gearbox fault?

Hah, good question, apparently the fault light hasn’t come on since the tyres were replaced.
This seems bizarre as the tyres are the same size but apparently the difference in the roll diameter supposedly can damage the gearbox! So says the Lambo dealer. Whatever that means. confused

Same size with a different diameter?

Paradox - how does the Lambo gearbox cope with tyres as they wear down and the diameter decreases...?

Astons are quite complicated enough for me, I'm never having a Lambo!

Indeed a very strange explanation to confuse the client and make him buy a new set of tyres.
Dealer said using non homologated tyres can invalidate warranty.
