Yielding good results from an entry level Canon DSLR with kit lens, good work Blib.

Maybe a bit of a pocket money earner; photography tours of London landmarks.

Still, at least I continue to post photos of the Shard. Unlike others, who merely talk a good game.

On my way into Waterloo.

Don’t give up the day job.

Looks like a train to me with something behind it.
It's like a ghastly 21st Century homage to Terence Cuneo. Instead of finding a mouse you have to spot a 72-floor tower block.
it’s perhaps easy to fall into the trap and dismiss blibs photos as a load of st but that’s what he wants us to think. The chaotic juxtaposition of the train and the London city scape are a fascinating insight into the troubled nature of blibs own life and its mediocrity.

He, in an existentialist way, is saying we should try to be better than him as he’s just a taker of st pictures and not look for art or ability where in fact there is none.

Hmmm. I hear you.

However, for me, photography is like everything and nothing at the same time.

In my latest masterpiece you'll note that the train and the Shard, well they’re sweating. And they’re touching each other

I find that photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still. Photography is about finding out what can happen in the frame. When you put four edges around some facts, you change those facts

I endeavour to change reality so subtely that it becomes more real than reality.

I find a way of putting distance between myself and the work which sometimes helps me to see more clearly what it is that I have made.

You're welcome.

I've always considered Blib's art a plea for help.

He calls; "I'm here, can you see me?"

He is lost in the noise. Like his muse.

I don't think he realises.

I can see the Shard and the other tall structures in the City 1/2 mile from my house ,at ground level ,Banstead Surrey.

Pics with potato cam will be rubbish.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watkin%27s_Tower

if you've never seen this- quite interesting. a tower larger than Effiel's, in wembley park.

only got to the first stage and the ground proved to be too unstable.

Very arty, I like the silhouette of the spitfire on the wall.

Not bad at all, Croyde. For a floundering amateur.

As a powerfully built, managing director -cum- visionary photography person, I visited my financial advisor in the Barbican yesterday.

As luck would have it, our meeting room gave me a glimpse of the magnificent Shard.

Here again, in all its glory.

Is that a reflection of you and your camera in the flash gun?
