Climate change - the POLITICAL debate.
Discussion
Albert Gore denied rights to film footage oh well never mind Al keep looking for a gullible true believer luvvy
"A weather expert has backed the stance of an Alice Springs filmmaker who refused to sell footage of a firestorm to former US vice-president Al Gore — to use in Mr Gore’s climate presentations — because the event was unrelated to climate change"
How odd the that the failed politico would want to use it. Can't think why, he's such an accurate and informed presenter

When we were travelling through Nevada in April, we passed the construction of the new boiler scheme at Ivanpah (some big connection with Google too). It is really mahoosive - covering hundreds of acres or even square miles of desert with mirrors, with three separate arrays. Impressive. But will it ever make money? Meanwhile just 100 miles west the Hoover Dam keeps churning out >7 Gw.http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/report-billions-...
When will mere realists get to see the secret (shhhh) letter from IPCC to UEA/CRU that nobody except the full-on archest arch-high-priests of the new religion can gaze upon without risking their faith or their grant funding? Apparently, now - some of it anyway.

Being reported on the lunchtime radio news that Ofgen are warning about energy shortfalls, predicting a potential drop in 'spare' capacity from 14% to 4% in just 3 years!
Pity they didn't start to raise tins point about years ago when others spotted the potential problem.Quote:
"Energy UK, which represents the energy industry, said Ofgem was right to highlight the challenges it faces in the coming years.
"We must secure over £150bn of investment in the UK to replace aging power stations and infrastructure, keep the lights on and meet our carbon targets," said its chief executive Angela Knight.
"All while making sure that energy bills are affordable for the millions of homes and businesses that rely on the power supplied by our members."
Is that the same Angela Knight, former MP, who has been so "successful" in her previous semi-sinecure roles since leaving parliament? Seems it is.
