According to the Syrian News Agency. How much do you normally trust that source?

The BBC ran story after story on the gas attacks. Yet there are no Western journalists in Syria to verify it's news stories. How can an impartial news organisation run unverified news?

There needs to be more questioning and balanced reporting. The whole thing is a mess and it worries me when Western media/politicians simple paint it as good v one evil.
It's worrying when the "Syrian observatory for human rights" is a guy in England and the White Helmets and other groups are gun toting fabricators, oh and the doctor who reported the supposed gas attack by Assad is wanted here for his terrorism links.

I trust their word all day long.

Somewhat more than that man in, is it Coventry simply because he is actually there. As you know there are people that knock anti-regime activists come journalists because they are not 'on the ground in Syria' so must be unreliable.

Your choice.

Because they want to plant seeds and avoid legal repercussions down the road.

Sounds like they are just waiting for the next chemical attack as it will give them an excuse to go in all guns blazing.

Boris Johnson says UK could join US military action in Syria without Commons vote

independent said:
Asked on the BBC’s Radio 4 Today programme whether he could envisage taking military action in the region, he replied: “I think it will be very difficult if the United States has a proposal to have some sort of action in response to a chemical weapons attack, and if they come to us and ask for our support, whether it's with submarine-based cruise missiles in the (Mediterranean), or whatever it happens to be, as was the case back in 2013, it would be in my view, and I know this is also the view of the Prime Minister, it would be very difficult for us to say no.”

Pressed further on whether the Foreign Secretary would seek approval in the Commons for such a strike, Mr Johnson added: “I think that needs to be tested. As I said I think it would be very difficult for us to say no. How exactly we were able to implement that would be for the Government, the Prime Minister.

That is hard watching but the CNN in the corner instantly makes me think what is the agender here. And that is how it has ended up, no one beleives the american media or Assad.

I personally think assad would have nothing to gain with chemical attacks and also know how much the rebels value human life. This war would have been over alot quicker if America would pick a different country to take over.

This is America's war on Syria's children.

An awful way to die.

Assad has been lying for so long now he does it without thinking.

Same goes for his supporter. The one who chose to condemn the US reprisal attack on the Syrian air base, rather than the one that left those kids and families gasping for breath.

For them, the lie 'is' the truth.

Have you actually got any proof though, I'd be interesting in reading it.

So far the only thing that's certain is that Syria was better off without the US arming terrorists, and that ISIS was growing and growing until Assad brought Russia in to exterminate them.

Additionally all the chemical attacks have been shown to be done by the 'rebels', not by Assad trying to prevent his own victory.
And have a look at Israel, they have now stolen the Golan Heights and have previously nursed ISIS fighters back to health and sent bombing raids into Syria to kill the Syrians.

So personally I see Assad as another Saddam and another Gaddafi, people who made their countries good places to live in but due to their geographical location next to Tribe and in the way of the Qatar pipeline, have been attacked by the US. It's arguable what the ultimate aim is, it's clearly destroying the US to use them as a weapon in this way but many people don't see that as the ultimate aim.

We can however celebrate Assad's victories in bringing stability back and driving back ISIS now, we should be very grateful to the sacrifices him and the Syrian's have made in order to defeat ISIS, which after all was created by us in Iraq - another illegal war.

So many LOL's in your whole post, but I have picked out this particular bit for the sheer "alternative facts" scale of BS invoked.

Oh sure. I'll forward you the photos somebody working at the Syrian air base showed me of the sarin bombs being loaded onto the jets.

Then I'll send you the flight path records I saved on my handy Syrian AF tracker app.

Then I'll forward you the mobile phone footage I took in the town of the bombs actually detonating, the men, women and kids dying, and the follow-up forensic investigation that was carried out by a UN approved independent mobile lab team that were in the area at the time and held a press conference announcing the results shortly afterwards.

I'll cc Sherzkecks in too.

fk sake.......

So just to be clear, you advocate dropping bombs on a country due to a "hunch"?

It's a crazy world.
