This thread is now in my small collection of bookmarks and while I can't offer anything other than interest, support and envy - very best of luck Mr. Fox and keep the updates coming.
Thank you very much for your support, and I'm sure there's no need for envy, as along this journey there will be peaks, and troughs. All I can do is try my best, and if I fail, so be it, and naturally if I succeed I will be happy.Regards
Mr Fox.
Good luck with it.....it's a long and hard road. I've been trading and/or managing other people's money for twenty years and learn something new all the time which is brilliant but also can be incredibly frustrating.
I've never traded currencies and my trading/investment style is much more based on fundamentals because of the markets I trade....the technical trading strategies you're employing aren't applicable to my world but good luck with it.

Good luck mate. Always something I have wanted to do. Looked in to spread betting as a friend works for one of the leading spread betting companies but to be honest it seemed I would be better of playing roulette.
Where do you start with something like this. What sort of funds and best way to place trades?
Look forward to following this!

Its been a good day today, but I'm sure it's just beginners luck.

EUR/JPY 42.5 -1.5(spread)
98.8 pips
total for the day

I should have ideally let the PM trades run, but have to go take the dog for a walk, and to be honest it's been a very good day so I'm going to take the rest of the day off.

Thank You. I've never traded currencies and my trading/investment style is much more based on fundamentals because of the markets I trade....the technical trading strategies you're employing aren't applicable to my world but good luck with it.
The techniques that I am using apply to any chart it dosent matter if its stocks, index's, indicies, or forex
etc. I prefer forex as it is quite a volatile market, thus the gains are much higher, BUT on the flip side I do understand that the losses can be greater, and this is a FACT I have accepted.
In this style that I have been shown it is IMPERITIVE that I don't ignore the fundamentals, but make sure they concurr with the technical trades. If not then I wont take the trade, and look for one where concurence is there.
Regards
Mr Fox

Could you also explain how much you are risking to gain these figures?
GOod luck, IM absolutely fascinated to follow this, and genuinely hope your judgement has improved on everything that you have ever done previously!

Mr Fox, perhaps you might be interested in my course on how to make a fortune in your spare time using premium rate phone numbers, call 090 100 100 to find out more.
Faaantastic. Just what I was looking for, and since you've been as kind as to bring it to my attention I'll ring it from my mobile, and land line at the same time.Lol.
Mr Fox, genuinely interested to follow this as it's a fascinating experiment. Just to set my cynical mind at ease though, you wouldn't happen to be an 'advert' for your tutor, would you?
Apologies if not but I find this kind of thing quite interesting and just had a couple of niggling doubts about the story.
Good luck!

No need to apologise. Apologies if not but I find this kind of thing quite interesting and just had a couple of niggling doubts about the story.
Good luck!
In my quest to learn to trade I have met "good traders", and they are either helpful or, just try, and put you off by telling you it's a mugs game, yet are earning six figure sums. I could have just started the topic with the title, and off I went, but decided to give a warts an all account, as there are some fraudulent companies out there just interested in taking your money.
As for an advert for this chap, well he's a grown man, and if he wants to advertise his business it's upto him, not me, as I have no interest or knowledge of selling someone else's product, thats why I omitted his details, and to be honest I made the mistake of calling him a teacher, which he was perturbed by, as he is a trader.
I'm not going to lie to you as, on the flip side have I told some of my friends about him. Yes I have, and if they wish to proceed or not thats thier choice.
Regards
Mr Fox.
