Mortgages with Sarnie
Discussion
Hi Sarnie, just sent you a message, on the back of that thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=19... thank you
Hello Sarnie
Maybe I should PM but perhaps this suffices for now.
I am looking at my options to downsize and get a bridging loan to buy a second house before selling my one. My current house is fully paid off but I am looking to retire in a couple of years' time.
Is it possible to get a mortgage and fully pay it off when I sell my current house within a couple of years?
At first, I was thinking of selling then renting then looking for the new house but it may end up costing the same anyway. Cheers.

A bridging loan isn't what you need if it's going to be a couple of years before you sell the current property............sounds like you may need an interest Only mortgage on the new property until the new property sells?Maybe I should PM but perhaps this suffices for now.

Anyone else fallen foul of the rule where if you take a break between roles of >21 days you need to be in a new role for 6+ months.
I've joined everyone in contacting Sarnie for help.

As your website is closed can you advise what the cost is for a mortgage - fee or commission
My normal guy is too busy for new customers and a family member looking for recommendations.
