pain right side lower near waist

ive had a pain come on in the last 2 days pretty painful(well i am a wuss) when i move or twist or proud it. don't feel sick so think ive pulled something? Any ideas?

Had similar and ended up having op to get what was left removed after it had burst. I'd go get it checked out asap

I have similar right now, but i was waiting for it to pass. This is the 3rd time i have had these pains in the last month. Feeling nauseous just now.

As a student nurse anyone feeling pain in that region please see a doctor as soon as possible.

I waited and wished I hadnt. It turned a routine appendectomy into a bit of an ordeal. I now have 3 scars instead of one.

I had my appendix removed last Friday. The last thing you want to do is let it burst.

Am i right in thinking that if the pain goes away for a couple of weeks then it cant be appendicitis? I thought appendicitis comes on then stays until it bursts?

Appendicitis will be almost constant pain I would suspect. Who sits with constant pain though, most will try and manage it with pain relief.

The on an off pain is it becoming inflamed and your body attempting to resolve it. It is the window you should use to see a professional and get their judgement on whether it should be either removed as a preventative or removed because you ran out of time and its about to burst.
