Experian "Credit Matcher" Pre-Approval
Discussion
For the first time I've been declined for a credit card. I assume it's because we recently completed on a house, but I've no idea. Looking at my Experian/Noddle/Clear Score accounts everything is 'in order' and my ratings are in the "Good/Excellent" sections on all.
Experian offers a pre-approval service where they guarantee you'll be accepted. Is this worthwhile?
Have ordered a £2 statutory report from Experian as well to ensure everything is right.

Your credit file "scores" have no real correlation to your ability to be accepted for credit............each lender has it own score card..........if you've recently taken on a mortgage then you debt-to-income ratio will have gone up which can cause you to be declined for credit.......Experian offers a pre-approval service where they guarantee you'll be accepted. Is this worthwhile?
