Following on from the fun that was had at Snetterton on Monday anyone fancy a SATURDAY in November at Mallory Park?

Details here:
http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/index....

Circuit details:
https://www.malloryparkcircuit.com/venue/

Almost bang centre of England so no excuses from those 'up north'.

Javelin day so book through them.

Who's in?

Garages are available but not sure how many cars they can support - a pair at Snetterton can accommodate 6 cars - so can check with Javelin.

Looks like mother and baby are going to Kuwait early in Nov so looks like I just need to sort a car laugh

As I remember them, the garages only accommodate one car each, and there aren't many. They are close to the pit exit, away from the other participants.

It's a brilliant circuit, but strange, only 5 corners, but surprisingly hard to master.

I may yet make it, with a friend in his Chim 430.

This may work out well, whether permitting.

I could do the track day and then go and drop my car off to Joolz for a bit of tweaking.

Like Stewart, I am rather weather dependent, so will book as late as possible.

I have been off the circuit twice at Mallory in the dry, both times at over 100 mph, and got away with it, so don't want the third time to be unlucky!

More car dependant for me. At the moment I have intermitent spark on the 'odd' bank. Fine on the 'even' bank.

Mallory is a great little track and does suck you into going faster and faster. I was hoping to come along for the craic. frown

When it pisses down all day on the 18th we will all smile a wry smile and be grateful. Peter and I have been there, with a Brands Hatch day in early December a couple of years ago. I managed 4 laps at an average of 35 mph and gave up when I slid down Graham Hill (ooh matron!!) at 20 mph, totally locked up and at 90 degrees to the track.

There’s a good list here

good list

Let’s all look again and pick something else.
Saturdays are 11, 18, 25 November and 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December.
Sundays are 12, 19, 26 November and 3, 10, 17 December.

I fancy Oulton Park, or Lyneham, or Rockingham, or anywhere else I haven’t been.
Or if you lot from the Deep South fancy Cadwell or Blyton, then I can accommodate several and am 40 miles from both tracks. And my wife can cook.....

I am planning on doing Rockingham on the 2nd Dec as I have a free pass for that day. I found my rainsport3s to be excellent on a very wet Cadwell park trackday but then I don't have the same torque as the big dogs ( my son has been home for a week and I am learning a new language).

That is a Saturday I believe.

I have never done Rockingham and although it is flat I wouldn’t mind giving it a go.

What do others think?

I have only watched racing there. Good track for spectators......you can see the entire track from the top of the stands at the start/finish.

I fancy it, another one ticked off, and a good long curved straight to test the turbo.
